I've never been a Costco member (because I never need to buy anything in bulk), but back when I worked at an office, I would go there for their great lunch deals. I don't know how they're doing these days, but I expect they're fine.

Back East, I ain't driving across town to shop at Costco. Out West, I don't think there is one. There is a BJ's Back East which is kinda close, but I gave up on those kinds of stores because I don't buy any product packaged like they do. I don't need 5 pounds of cheese when 2 will do just fine. So, Wally's it is most of the time.

Not every store is in every place. Here in California we have Smart & Final which is a smaller version of Wallyworld/Costco where they mainly used to cater to the food service businesses. They still do, though not so much anymore.

It's a nice place to shop because you get bulk prices for things that aren't as much bulk. Like 3-5 lbs of ground beef per package instead of 10.

These stores don't exist (as far as I can tell without a deep dive) outside of California.

It's the same in the other direction; we don't have Piggly Wiggly here and I'll bet there are some brands PW carries which Kroger/Safeway doesn't.

The only ubiquitous places are Wallyworld and Costco. I just refuse to shop there.

The problem is that Management can't ban through a VPN. They can ban all of the VPN's ip addresses, but that kills a huge gateway for legit users/MERCHANDISE BUYERS/new members.

It's an acknowledged problem that really has only 1 solution - whack a mole.

Personally I don't find BB all that troublesome. Yes he's crude and outspoken about his racial beliefs, but he's not advocating violence/murder/genocide/sedition like many of the others who are members here (Who deny and hide their support for those harms against society - unlike BB who is right up front about his.) BB also doesn't defame other members by calling them (Lit banned word) or worse.

These are things that many who complain about BB regularly do, all while professing their snowy character. Personally, I'd rather have to deal with the Lit court jester than get stabbed in the back by those who claim to be a rules abiding forum member.
