Alien vs Predator Campaign: Recruiting

First off- thread looks great.

Now for the bad news- I've just found out that I'm being sent back stateside in May instead of July like was previously planned. So this means a huge rush of stuff to do and not much time to do it in. My posting time is about to be severely curtailed by this though I'll post as frequently as I can in the thread. Just very stressed at the moment because of this crap.
NEVER join the medical side of the AF, it fuckin' sucks.

That done, if I've been away for a few days you can drag my character along, though I don't plan on being AFK for a length of time until the 15th or so, after that I'm not sure when or how frequently I'll be online.

Alright! The first campaign map is in! This is a picture of the USCM military outpost in AVP: A Frozen Hell. I drew it up in paint but I think its design is simple enough to understand.

i saw u started the campaign already only 20 some posts into it i scimmed thru ur recrument thingy and didnt see to may aliens id love to be one ( think it would be fun to work my way from face hugar into runner or sumtin evi like that) figured it was better to ask in here rather than kill the mood in your ic threadlemm know if u still need an alien

Alright! I've been looking for another Alien. Since you have been reading through the posts-would you like to start off as a facehugger and join the attack with thousands of your kin? I can start you right away.

Sorry about the confusion. The Aliens have breed a new war machine-the ravager. This creature is described in the campaign under a green post submitted earlier today. It's one of those living juggernaughts that stand as high as a three-story building. A tank might be one of the only ways to kill one alone.

I think Don may got cofused as there was 2 pod drops, one forour or group and the other is the NPC group for Ta'voc.

Anyhow, ther is a lot more then 2 Predators.

Sorry about the confusion. Let me sort this out. There are a lot more than 2 preds. There is You, Vixandra, Orlanth, and about a dozen NPC's including Ta'voc (bad guy) and his brutes and Tar'nithkis (arbiter) and his Young Bloods. So there is well over 15 of you. You might have been confused when the hunters were dropped from the ship. The pods fired off in random directions; You and Ta'voc and his brutes landed on one side of the valley surrounding the base while Vixandra, Orlanth, Tar'nithkis and his hunters landed on the other side. So the hunters are divided in about two equal teams surrounding the marines.
(Side Note: You are not fighting an Alien army alone. Remeber, the marines are in this too. In fact, they are in the worst position-they are right in the middle of the war. Also remeber your mission, which is to kill the captured yautja for allowing himself to be captured. As long as you complete the primary objective, you can kill as many marines and Aliens as you want.)

About this question, Ta'voc prefers to get down and dirty. He uses powerful melee weapons such as dual wrist blades, a combat spear, and another devastating melee weapon (which you will see soon enough). His fighting style is simple: abmush the enemy by drawing it into a trap and then maul it to death. If the enemy is in large groups he tends to split the groups into two sections by charging down the center and causing as much chaos as possible by dissrupting formations and organization. Anyone else have any questions?

First thing is: The captured hunter (Nihkou'te) was a member of the clan that was wiped out. The same clan that sent a message to Nan-de stating "It is now your chiva and duty to kill Nihkou'te and restore his honor". Those yautja were hunting xenos before the humans found them.
Also, Predators have an accute sense of smell and feeling. Ecpessialy when around their chosen prey (the Aliens).
There are a few loose ends, but I can leave those to you to ponder on...
