I think that for your own peace of mind, you should get some lube, and some gloves, and play with your own ass before heading for your girlfriend's. That should give you some idea of what you'll encounter. Which is to say, not much.

If it makes you both feel better, start by playing in the shower and using water to wash and touch each other and get turned on first, maybe slide a finger in and out while you are still in the shower with warm running water and soap at hand. Don't use lots of soap to try to clean her out, too many chemicals can irritate or change her natural chemistry & lead to infection.

I wouldn't suggest using her own lubrication or spit...you definitely need to have an artificial lube on hand.

As for asking her if she's clean down there, that would qualify as scary and offensive to most women, and she's not likely to want to even try after a comment like that.

One thing you could try is using a small vibrator or dildo covered in a condom and lube. Put her on her side, and go very slowly. When you pull out, dispose of the condom right away (since her back is turned, she won't see if anything's on it and be grossed out of all eternity).

You probably don't already have the equipment on hand to give an enema, but you can buy it at the store. Look for (or ask about) something called a Fleet's enema.
