It's going to be interesting watching the dems play defense now. I wonder if they really thought they were going to be immune to the consequences of the game they started?

Rep. Nunes has made eight referrals for investigation/prosecution. Word on the street is that 5 are no brainer's with full documentation, the remaining 3 are tangled conspiracy charges that will have to be unwoven before any real charges can be filed.

The AG's IG's report is due soon on the FISA abuses that will probably lead to even more charges being filed.

Then there's Huber's investigation into leaks. Huber is certainly running way under the radar there so what he coughs up is going to be anyone's guess.

Contrary to the opinion of some there ARE going to be indictments forthcoming, the only question is how high they're going to go?

It's nice seeing the worm turn.

They actually weaponized several different major departments to go after their enemies so at this point with that Foundation laid, the current Administration can exact retribution without any actual blowback because they can't say a damn thing about what they said was entirely proper for the last almost three years.

Can you imagine the shrieking that would occur if they were to bump into Hillary right now for a friendly interview actually record the interview get her line which no doubt she would do actually prosecutor and imprison her.

All of these people talking about Prosecuting Donald J Trump once he's out of office and putting him in prison will have to shut their mouth if they bring Obama in right now and get him to either admit on record that he actually knew that Hillary was violating the law and that he was complicit in doing so when he emailed her on her private server or get him to lie about it and in any case actually prosecute and imprison a former president. It would be awesome.

It would never happen of course, for the same reason spies are rarely executed.

More wishful thinking?

Remember...it was tried many times over.

Let's reminisce..shall we?

Lol. your little chart is no longer accurate (not that it ever was in the first place). I suspect the numbers under the Obama administration are going to change.

So many here don't see the extreme danger in what happened. Here's the overview as I see it.

Both the Republicans and Democrats have built these political machines. They have BOTH become more interested in winning than what is best for the nation. They both have a constituency that are in lock step with the party line, not thinking for themselves. That system has been entrenched for far too long.

Trump is an outlier. He is anathema to both party lines and that's the reason we're seeing what's going on today. From their perspective he's bringing chaos to order. From my perspective a little chaos is healthy. The Trump theme of draining the swamp is long over due.

You are right!

The chart is outdated and trump's numbers are higher now.

Thanks for the clarification.

Here is the overview as I see it - Barr is the sycophant Tiny always wanted. His two year quest for the Atty General of the US to be "his" is over. The politicization of the Department of Justice is underway and the casualty is truth.

It really wasn't until Trump ran for President that it became uncool to do business with the Russians.

Prior to that, and bigly since the "Economic Crisis", USD's have been all over Russia and the former SU.

They've all been picking the bones of global unrest for cash. All of them.

That was not Trump specific. The problem with doing business with the Russians was how well Hillary and Bill did it

The entire point of pointing out and vilifying various inconsequential contacts that Donald J Trump had with Russians over his business career was to inoculate Hillary from the obvious charged that she was beholden to and had been accepting bribes from the Russians.

See? Americans have been increasingly openly laundering benjies for the Russkies since the 1980's.

It's not political, das capital.

It’s not started. It’s nice to see more indictments coming from Mueller’s work. I bet there are still more on the way. Funny, and kinda sad, how folks want to credit others with Mueller’s hard work. I guess it just doesn’t fit in their “witch hoax” narrative.

The charges stem from the federal investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election led by special counsel Robert Mueller, which came to a formal end last month.

Craig is charged with lying during an Oct. 19, 2017, interview with the special counsel’s office about the nature of work he did for the Ukrainian government in 2012 and 2013, while he was a senior partner at the law firm Skadden Arps. Craig left the firm in April of 2018.

In a settlement reached between Skadden and the Justice Department earlier this year, the firm revealed that a senior partner who fit Craig’s description responded to the DOJ inquiry. That partner allegedly made “false and misleading” statements about the nature of the firm’s work for Yanukovich, which were intended to avoid having to register the firm as a foreign agent.

Craig has reportedly been interviewed multiple times by Mueller’s team as part of its 22-month investigation into Russian election meddling, possible Kremlin collusion with the Trump campaign and possible obstruction of justice by President Donald Trump himself.

We've been saying for the longest time that Mueller would lead to the Democrats in this passion play.

But, it is (ironic) funny that the Dems are blasting Barr even as you give credit to Mueller.

And by more indictments, we all assume you mean Trump Administration indictments.
Correct?

LOL, you see Trump as a breath of fresh air? From their perspective it’s not chaos to order, but burning down the house, which was the intent from the beginning (remember Bannon?). Not saying the DC status quo was always desirable, but be careful what you wish for...he hasn’t drained the swamp so much as built a new personalized one.

Here is a question for you

The DUMZ made a criminal referal vs Cohen and he is going to JAIL

Sen Grassley made severa vs the women who lied against BK as well as Mikey A and NADA

Why is that?

Why is it ALWAYS a one way street

Correct?

No one is blasting Barr over this indictment.

Assume all you would like. I’m just going to sit back and enjoy this silly dance you all are doing because of the weaponized witch hoax!

Yes they are.

It's all over the news. Democrats rushing to the mic to claim he's a Trump puppet.
I even think it's been said here. I'm pretty sure I've read that.
Just because you haven't seen it in this thread or brought it up,
it doesn't imply that it's not happening.
You're just the first person I've seen trying to credit Mueller, which, when I think about it,
might actually be a roundabout and subtle way of discrediting Barr...

;) ;)

Perhaps you can show me what I am missing then? Even a search had turned up nothing slamming Barr over this indictment.

We know why.

"this"

indictment? But how about Barr?

Have you seen what Schumer, Clapper and Matthews have said about him?

And, it is true that Trump was not only spied on, but that the only collusion and obstruction came from deep within the bowels of the Deep State and the Democrat Party. It was only a year or so ago that the hysteria was that Trump would fire Mueller to protect himself...

(Of course, I'm not going to accuse you of that.)

... when it appears that he might not have been protecting his administration by such a move.
