Are you staying at a family place or a rental ? Maybe just a friend's?

We bought our good friends cottage. His wife (my best friend) passed away in Nov of '19 & he was planning on selling it so after almost a year we decided to jump on it.
I have my boating license so watch out lol. Actually I'm getting more confident & plan on driving it into the marina to get gas. My biggest fear is crashing into other boats in the marina. Eventually my goal is to use it when I'm there without my husband, not quite ready yet.

To the Maritimers and the East Coasters.....thank you.
This whole country is spectacular, but I’ve already developed a soft spot for the right coast.

I’ve fished in 8 out of ten provinces and two territories...and all of them have been stunning.
BC is obviously a favourite....however, the streams and rivers in the back country are shockingly amazing.
The fly fishing is second to none.

I am humbled...

I had to go back here twice....and will do so again.

Found an operator that’s out of work that has his own grader, dozer and loader willing to flatten, clear and level the land for the house for 3000 buck plus I’ll upgrade his electrical service at my cost.
Half a day’s work. Fuck yeah...almost 15000 saved. Sweet deal. The tax man can suck my balls. Ha!

All of the panels required to stay off of the grid I can do myself...7000 saved. Another fuck yeah.

Land titles raped and pillaged me...still asshole sore from those guys..lol...but it is what it is.

Engineering firm, architect...18000...required and outside my certification...money well spent.

Today kicks ass...let’s do this.
