Its the middle of a three day bank holiday weekend
reason for the bank holiday is a bit sad but 96 is a fucking good innings in anyone book.
So for the first time in long time i had a cooked breakfast -fried egg on toast. with toast left over to have cold with jam ala hotel breakfasts.
As nice as it was - and it was scrummy - as i was washing up - apart from the toast being cut wrong (not diagonal) the main difference was the having to be arsed doing it - glad I did and may push out the boat next weekend and have egg and black-pudding rounds on cheesy crumpets.

Not had cheese on crumpets for years. I'm going to be craving them now. Do you you brush them with Worcester sauce?

I think I'll go and make cheese on toast, closest thing I have
