Confused

This is surely true, it just will not work any other way.

But it is your choice, who can be your sub and who can't. I am sure there are things that you will not do, no matter what. So if this is what this particular person needs, then you two are not a good match. Everybody have their limits, including Doms. Some of them can change with time, some can't, because this is just who you are.
