Yes the sun is back and it's supposed to get up to 87 this weekend, bring your sunglasses and sunblock!
I'll be in Az this summer at the Grand Canyon.
It's such pretty country up there, you'll enjoy it. Most people visit the south rim but if you can, drive around to the north rim and look at it from the other side, you won't regret it. Plan it carefully though, the distances are greater than what you might be used to, and drink plenty of water.

Yes, to those of you visiting our beautiful state, Ms. Dee is correct. The North Rim of Grand Canyon is Amazing! And it's quite a drive from the South Rim, about five hours, but definitely worth it. Unfortunately, the North Rim is usually closed from November to May due to snow so check before you go.

They raced the weekend before in Havasu, nephew only flies in for the Lucas oil modified series races. He whomped on the competition in Havasu! Came in 1st! Don't think my brother in law raced in Blythe this weekend. Next series race is the 29th in Tucson. I think, schedule is at work.

Ah yes good old racing season - reminds me when we raced in Tucson on the little old 1/4 mile dirt track. When Hank Arnold and Jim Wood (our driver) was the hot shoes. It was Friday night in Tucson and Saturday night at Manzanita in Phoenix on the big 1/2 mile dirt track. Memories!!!!!!!
