Army Men In Hell: The Ultimate Wargame

Nobody say sorry for having time to post. Literotica is a hobby...a fun one that I enjoy, but you don't always have the time. I've finally got kind of a free weekend, and should have time to post come Sunday for sure....I have plans for an update that will move things along and bring in some very real threats. Word to the wise...organize and be ready for a real fight.

Ah yes to the fellow with the helicopter. I was doing some thinking and realized though a Huey is a great addition to the mission (other vehicles will become available and OOC you know you can get some vehicles in town), I feel that you need a little help managing your craft. I hope you do find someone to service and repair it, but for now I think you need a little help operating it....

Your crew to work as door gunners are George and Bill who are average height, strong, robust, and enjoy chocolate snack cakes, beer, and cheese burgers. Oh and did I mention they're humiod bull dog creatures. They do talk though and love to fly.

Wait...the chopper pilot gets NPCs to help? A similiar question has been in the back of my mind since we started: do we get NPCs to back us up? I mean, two snipers, a heavy gunner, and a guy with a supped up shotgun, while potentially awesome in video games, can't really clear and secure an entire town by themselves.

Well if you read what is in the town it is do able...and more NPC's will flock to your banner shortly. I suggest investigating the town. You'll find supplies and help there if you can manage things alright. Help will come...as to the chopper the bulldogs are there to help make it more effective.

Seriously though any specific suggestions about what you'd like....I have some ideas, but always welcome input.

Well, seeing as how Jagged is gonna be moving us along here pretty soon, and we're still not up to snuff in the IC, if ya'll will forgive me, I'm gonna use my next post to get us up to speed on the orders and whatever else Boomer knows. In order to do that, I'm gonna have to not give the other soldiers a chance to interrupt or anything. Introductions, if any, will be short and sweet, and life stories and whatnot will have to wait.

Oh, and just a heads up, Boomer might be issuing an order or two.

Long awaited Update to be posted later tonight...after my shift. Sorry things have been crazy people. Now I have the time and the ideas.

Still at awe of the Huey, waiting for shit to hit the fan and of course Boomer to take lead. I would say Hoorah, but 3 is not a Marine LOL

Army says "Hoorah", Marines say "Semper Fi, bitch"

And it seems our chopper pilot may be the highest rank in the group. Apparently, Chief Warrant Officers are just that, officers. Staff Sergeants, and sergeants in general, are not officers. Thus, CWO > SSGT.

Unfortunately, in IC, I didn't realize what CW stood for when Hoodoo introduced himself, hence why Boomer moved into command mode. However, that could also be explained by the fact that CWO are specialty officers, and are more familiar with their chosen field than an sergeant or a different officer rank, and thus a chopper pilot really shouldn't be leading a bunch of ground pounders.

Here's a link to wikipedia that gives ranks in the U.S. Army: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/US_Army#Personnel

Well unless Hoodoo reprimands you, you gave orders and are needed to reply to Hoodoo's question Boomer. :p

Also could we get going? I'm growing restless, I wanna hunt that sniper in the tower

Jagged keeps saying he's gonna post, so I'm waiting on Jagged.

Thanks for your patients guys...just been tied up with work a lot. I'm going to have some time next day or so (before the superbowl at least), so I have my notes for a lengthy update so I should make it happen. Real life is the only thing keeping me from LIT...

Just a few notes before I post the main up date later this even after the big game.

Our chopper pilot does know he has two helpers now correct? They took the roles from the previous crew members and were inspired by Marine Corp t-shirts I've seen over the years.

Those in the Hexagon town will soon find the zombies in the base of the towers have broken the locked trapped door and are now wondering out into the streets...they don't smell humans but gun shots and loud noise will attract them. Also it is a safe bet that they will gather in the Dying Minister Inn (force of habit). There is the sniper also which I will detail.

There are warhorses and transport in the town if you read my info post, but parts for the chopper won't be to much of a stretch and there are heroes waiting to be freed. A patrol will be coming in so you'll have reenforcement soon, and they'll be just ahead of a more substantial threat.

Other projects have been dealt with for now, so I'll be free to update more...so please any questions and look back this evening.

Yeah I'm aware of the dog creatures. I'm just waiting for an appropriate time to work them in. Unless you just want them to pop out of thin air.

I understand completely, just didn't want you to miss out. And I like the little guys.

*reads the IC updates* Bloody hell. And by my reckoning, we haven't even crossed the drawbridge yet. Of course, also by my reckoning, it's still early morning, i.e. 7 or 8 AM.

You reckon correctly...but I'd get a move on. You got enemies to deal with, a position to secure, and have to receive reinforcements and enemies alike.

Any questions about about the recent updates? I will be back later after I get some much needed sleep.

I'm still on board, I'm just really busy with school work. I'm able to log on Lit every so often, like now, but posting is gonna be kinda slow.

I understand just checking in...shifts been canceled at work so had free time I don't want, and want to write.

Still here, just waiting for us to start moving out and killing zombies. Question: Are these zombies like the normal zombie? Slow moving get's killed with a head shot, or the fast moving takes a lot of damage anywhere to put down for good

Good question they're a little in between. They don't shuffle along and move about as fast as anyone. You can kill them with a shot to the head, and that remains the most likely way to put them down. You can shoot them other plays that might prove fatal, but can't guarantee they won't get up again. You've got the town you better secure it and there aren't just zombies there. Also some horses that want to be let out and fed...and possibly some heroes to rescue.

Well my plan is to get in there, kill some zombies and then go after that old sniper for that very nice gun of his
