Army Men In Hell: The Ultimate Wargame

The shotgun actually exists whereas the armor does not. And the flyboy probably won't be showing up all that much. As for the explosives, I actually had to stop myself from giving him more. I had to work within the confines of what he could feasibly carry in his pack, with the 20 round drums for the shotgun taking up the bulk of the space. It's not like we all have video game FPS inventory systems.

So, to compromise, work with what you sent me and the reply I gave and when the others have put their posts up, I'll write up an IC that should result in a stalemate. You'll just have to make sure the gun is pointed at the head in order for it to be a true stalemate.

Also, I'm not really complaining about the armor. Maybe make the helmet more like a pilot's or motorcycle helmet. Just as long as it doesn't have all the tech from Halo, I don't mind so much. The real complaint is the Assassin's Creed nonsense. You're guy is welcome to be the silent, stealthy type, but to climb across walls without so much as a rope is just a little much. We may be in Hell for this game, but do try to keep it to what is feasible for the average soldier in the real world, give or take maybe a little atheltism.

Alright, alright. Holy hell. Drop the damn armor. Jesus. Just give me some damn ghillie suit and a shitty bolt action rifle.

Wait...what? You had actually planned on having that armor have some tech similar to the stuff in Halo? If that isn't the case, then by all means keep the armor. As for the rifle, I've got no objections as long as it fits in the limits of modern weapon design. Besides, bolt action rifles are pretty damn good in terms of accuracy.

Maybe not shitty, and no I had no intentions of giving the armor tech at all. And the helmet was supposed to be just for keeping bullets out of my head. But hey, whatever. I've changed my IC posts and would appreciate it if you could do the same.

I'm assuming nobody is going to bite my head off for lightening the com set? If not, I'd rather not carry it.

I'll change my post. It was a waste of valuable ammo anyways. I'll have the change up later tonight. I unfortunately have a couple of other things to tend to before then.

As for the radio, that's up to Jag. He's the one who said the radio had to be the bulky backpack type. I've got no objections to it being smaller/lighter, or not there at all. Although...our personal comms would be considered short range and the radio set in the town would be long range, so we'd probably need the portable radio set for intermediate range. Just thinking aloud. Final decision is Jag's.

Enough

No halo no experimental armor and I've yet to see an Assassin't Creed plastic toy soldier.

No experimental armor, because I haven't seen it make it's way to the realm of plastic model soldiers. One day it might.

Radios, you need the bulk backpack ones for long range communication, like for example calling one of the other units in your area. I don't see any reason why everyone shouldn't have walkie talkies and it wouldn't be a bad idea for them to have head sets.

The new guy got the vehicle so you could all get around easier. That is why I insisted on him having a 10 passenger transport with room for crew including door gunners rather than the two seater attack chopper. His choice fits, and it benefits others.

A bolt action rifle and camouflage will probably give you plenty of mileage.

I'll be posting IC soon. Just got back from the gym after my shift and need some sleep. Thanks for the interest everyone.

We probably either bugged and/or confused the hell out of you Jag with this little episode, didn't we Jag? Sorry about that, but it's all taken care of. A repeat should not occur any time soon.

Okay, edit is up. Let's proceed.

PS. Call sign is whatever you want it to be. Same goes for everyone. Call sign's are what we would use to address each other over the radio.

Uh, I would like to extend my apologies to all I have upset in any way, shape, or form. I was having a bad night and probably shouldn't have gotten on. It won't happen again, I can assure you.

At any rate, I figured I should change my name to something more name-ish. Hope you don't mind.

Do we have a landing zone for aircraft? I didn't see mention of one in the area description.

I was gonna reply with a negative on the FAARP thing and for helicopters, any place that is relatively flat and at least 50 feet wide is an LZ.

OK before anybody tries to give me flak about my IC post. Three is a WWII soldier, there was no helicopters yet. Also I know that some Army Men sets came with Apache Attack Choppers, but Three never saw a helicopter of any kind in his whole..*****? So that is why he asked WTF the chopper is. OK? Ok

Hey, I got the concept the moment I read your post, so I had no intention of giving you flak. In fact, I was thinking of giving Brains some flak instead. I mean, he's a WWII era soldier right, so why the hell is he so calm and accepting about something like that? :D

Hes been freaking out the entire time. Soldiers in modern armor camo and sophisticated weapons. He knows what support means and he knows its an aircraft of some sort since your character directed him to find somewhere to land. Support is always a good thing so why wouldn't he be eager to see it whatever it is.

Hehe. Relax Brains. I've got a list of people in this story that I need to give some flak and you just happened to be second. It wouldn't have been fair if I had picked on Leo the entire time, now would it? :D

Bwhahaha now I feel less alone. Welcome to my club of "Receiving flak" Brains and Leo, I'll send out your name tags when I have them made

You're on my list too, DK. You're next in line unless someone else decides to cut ahead of you.

*narrows eyes* Young grasshopper? You should know better than that, padawan learner.

You may be my master in affairs of the Jedi way master, but a young grasshopper you remain in the eyes of the universe :D

Please, allow me to stab the universe in the eyes. Then you are no longer a young grasshopper.

I don't really mind the debating guys, because frankly it shows you're all interested and want to play.

Been stuck with working six day a week and trying to make time to workout and write, but I'm getting there and should have stuff up this weekend.

Adapt, overcome, improvise....that is how you deal with problems.

Any other issues that need to be addressed?

Sorry I haven't posted yet but I'm gearing up for a new school semester that starts Tuesday, so I'm gonna be kinda busy for awhile. I will get posts up in all the threads I'm in eventually, I'm just not sure when. It could be tomorrow or a week from tomorrow, I just don't know. Just bare with me, okay?
