Army Men In Hell: The Ultimate Wargame

Just the looks. It can be Spec Ops kevlar or something like that. No better than normal kevlar, just more aestetically pleasing.

I've been wondering, Leo, how does your character manage to spot all three of us? I mean, Boomer is in a building looking out through a gap in the shutter of a closed window and DK's character is up on a hill (that happens to be behind Boomer) half a kilometer from everyone else and he's in a prone stance as well. Noble Five must have pretty damn good eyesight to see through a wall/shutter and spot a guy laying down on a hill 500 meters behind him.

Um. Sniper Rifle? How did DK's char spot both of you? Sniper Rifle. Sniper are used to spotting targets from long distances. Please think about things before you try to pin me for something like that.

DK's character didn't spot me. He suspected movement in one of the buildings. And even sniper scopes can't see through walls and closed windows. You're more than welcome to suspect movement as well, but apparently your character was able to ID mine as a "Heavy" which goes quite a bit beyond suspecting movement.

And please don't take offense from this, I'm just picky about keeping things as realistic as possible. DK can attest to this from the Star Craft 2 thread.

Uhm yeah I was wondering about that when I read Leo's reply, almost thought I made another mistake there. No need to eat each other up though, it's just a slip of hand

No real big deal were all on the same side.... it happens. Get on with it all ready and somebody post! :p please lol

*looks at Brains IC post* Um, yeah...anybody else want to take this one? Here's a hint: focus on the building Boomer is in. If I recall correctly, I did describe the building that Boomer was in back in my first post.

By the way, sorry Brains, but I'm a bit of a stickler for consistency.

Thanks for that. My OCD was acting up a bit and when it does that I can be a bit of a pain. Sorry.

No problem I can understand the frustration and I usually pay better attention to things like that. Been out of roleplaying for about a year and a half so need to warm up lol.

Jagged, no I don't mind switching the Cobra for an Iroquois. Just note that Cliff's callsign is now 'Hoodoo' and the bird's name is Black Betty. I'll make my first post shortly.

I believe you stated there was a window? Noble might have had a better angle than Three. That, and your char is no doubt rather...rotund...and is wearing a padded kevlar vest. No other class wears that.

Anyway, I'll fix it if you think your right. Whatever. Hah, it doesn't matter to me.

Okay, before I put up my next post, I want to point out two real world facts.

First, .45 caliber slugs are large, "slow" moving bullets that pack one hell of a punch. While they won't pierce modern Kevlar body armor, they will put anyone - anyone, armored or not - on their ass. The reason for this is because the bullet is moving at a slower velocity than say a 9mm, the full force of the bullet goes into the target rather than being used to go through the target like a 9mm bullet would.

Second is that a study was done a few years ago with regards to reaction time and a law enforcement. The scenario: a trained officer, gun drawn at the ready, aimed at a suspect. The suspect has a handgun in the waistband of his pants on his back, hands at his sides. The study revealed that the suspect could draw his weapon, aim, and fire three rounds before the officer, who has his gun at the ready, can fire even one round.

Just wanted to get those two facts out there for future reference.

You...you...you shot me! How could you?! Haha. It's all good as long as I don't get a bullet through me. Actually, I'd rather not be shot any more, but who knows?

Edit: Are all police officers highly trained, alien armor-clad Godzilla killers? Haha.

Yeah. Of course I shot you. And I'm likely to do it again if you keep doing that Assassin's Creed crap while wearing Halo armor while everyone else is in Call of Duty/Medal of Honor gear. What were you expecting, a cookie?

By the way, Mr. Halo-meets-Assassin's-Creed-in-Call-of-Duty, there is no way in hell you could dodge a bullet at a range of only 5 feet, or 1.5 meters for those who prefer metric, from a standing start. You'd have to be the Flash or some other superhuman in order to do that, especially when the weapon is coming up through the center line of the body.

The most a human could have done at that range was perhaps move just enough so that the bullet just misses their kidney to one side and stops before coming out below the rib cage on the back. However, with your body armor, it would still hit the same area but it wouldn't penetrate. It would hurt like hell and spin you around a little, but there wouldn't be any blood loss.

Would you like me to get shot several times so you knock out one of your men right off the bat? I can do that, if you want. I tried to do it as best I can without seeming godly, which I supposed I pulled off rather poorly. I'll fix it, hang on.

And maybe Timmy played alot of Assassin's Creed...

Edit: I believe Boomer has an experimental shotgun and how many pounds of explosives? And the new guy who has not posted yet had a aircraft. I think it's asking very little for a suit of experimental armor. I may be mistaken, but that is my take on things.
