Art for Arts Sake, Not Necisarily Erotic in Nature

I got to see some baby pictures

This one was a drawing from life. My daughter was 18 months old. We were at our camp. Little Wolf has been there, and knows the context.

The thing is, this was in 1979 or so. Long time ago, now.

Cantdog Now I got to see baby pictures! I would not have guessed that this toddler turned into the lady I know.

And these two so far, Pixel for pixel Drawings....WoW! I'm truly impressed. Damn, you are full of surprises. I am certainly going to enjoy living out near you, (a few years from now) Thanks again Cant for turning me onto this site. :)

Halo--Your Joker is fantastic, much much better than anything that hollywood has put out. The piece brought a genuine smile to my face.
As I was looking at the Joker, this question came to mind "Does your Joker shop at JoeBoxer.com? "
Aside from the pants, I love how you have Evilized him.

Thanks. Bad guys are often the most stimulating in a storyline. I've added a number of details to the illustration since posting it earlier. I'll post the final product after I've inked it.

The pants came from Rodeo Clown school, naturally. :D

* breathless *

I love this new thread. So much interesting work to look at.

Dammit! I'm supposed to be grading papers.

 :D

Keep the rain bow and add a peguses or
loose the rain bow and add your dragon attacking tha castle!
I like the castle alot, I'm not sure how hard it is to work in these programs but the background need work. Can the mountains be shrouded in mist?or fog? to make them look more real.
Keep them coming Bryce I really did seeing this stuff and would love to learn more about it. :)

I did that image for my Mom. And yes, I probably could have done a better job with misty mountains, but I'm not a true expert with the app.

While I'm in here ...

Another one of a cityscape. I modeled the spaceship and the city myself. I'm not happy with the texture on the ship, but it doesn't look too bad.

Lovely thread and beautiful work!

I love those Dolphins 4degrees -gorgeously calming.

I love the sketch of your little girl Cantdog, captures a sweet moment well :)

Art in a different form. I painted this for a friend after being told about some of the native history in their area. I also did a water painting of the same picture on the top with feathers hanging to the side like a dream catcher.

Here are a couple more things Ive done, a baby quilt and a lap quilt for two friends.

Every year our local scout troop makes fondant eggs to sell at Easter as a fundraiser. The last year I helped out the lady who took care of the organizing asked if I could do something special on the eggs that we 'give' to the Cancer Society for their patients that come into the office that month. I came up with the idea of putting daffodils on each egg the flower that represents the society. I heard they loved them!

Here is another quilt, its a queen size. You cant see much of it but it is done in blues, greens, and burgandys with the back done in light weight denim.

cantdog...i can't imagine doing something one pixel at a time, geez. even trying to stipple with a prush is too tedious for me. thats some cool stuff. and i always dig your drawings.

popcorn. damn. what medium is that? awesome awesome.

cealy thats some nice hands on work there. very nice.
