I think part of it is that some people think with their other brains. You take a wonderful picture where the person looks so sexy and it arouses them so their brains get consumed by lust. Instead of taking things into their own hands, they assume that she's as turned on as they are. Even if she says no whether by sig line, topic or directly, they still think she does because of the picture.
In some cases, it is blind hope. Some are looking and hoping and when they see a pic, they get excited. I sure hope you stop getting harassed soon.

-People treat others badly because they lack enough compassion to understand that they need to. Especially on online situations where they can't se the people on the other end.
-Because in many cases, we are way too selfish fo our own good.
-because some grew up negatively and can't see the good in things.
