you could even pretend that you were an astronaut that played in the NBA on the side...maybe even bring the NBA to space

I agree completely with you...I do not want my mind to go...if my body continues to break down...my mind can find ways to make up for that..but if my mind goes my body will not be able to make up for it

I think there is a story in your answer

I volunteered in nursing homes as a teenager, and I often come across people with dementia in my line of work. The best ones I've seen are the ones who are "pleasantly confused" and not bothered by it one bit. The worst I've seen are individuals with end-stage Alzheimer's who need 24-hour care because they can no longer feed or look after themselves, and who spend the majority of the day sitting in a chair and staring at nothing in particular (or perhaps at something that the rest of us can't see). I always pray that they've managed to construct a pleasant fantasy world in their minds that they can dwell in, rather than feeling lonely/confused/scared and not understanding what's going on around them.

that is so sad or can be....it is exactly what I worry about for both my parents and myself....I have not had much personal experience with it..thank god...but when I do see people like that...I hope that their mind has taken them to a happier point in their life

as you know...I wish my mind would do that for me from time to time..so it is the least I can hope for others

Hello everyone....I hope everyone is having a super Saturday...I am watching the Spurs/Memphis game...it is a great game but I am a little bored

anyone want to chat?

You can ask me anything!!!

Well it's Sunday here now and you'll be asleep, but I'll give you a little bump all the same x

Got some new movie reviews for you...

Lake Mungo - I'd heard really good reviews about this movie, but to be honest, I felt like it didn't live up to the hype. The plot started out interestingly enough, but then fell flat on its face towards the end. Not to mention that some of the actors' Australian accents were so thick that I had to watch some scenes twice because for the life of me, I could not understand what they said the first time around (but don't get me wrong, I do love a good Aussie accent ).

The Last Exorcism: Part II - The prequel to this movie (i.e., "The Last Exorcism") was pretty disappointing, and this movie was only marginally better. You do have to watch the first movie in order to understand the second one. If you're big into demonic possession movies you could give this one a try, but it certainly will never live up to the cinematic greatness that was "The Exorcist".

The Poughkeepsie Tapes - A horror crime documentary. I'm a fan of both horror and true crime, so naturally I thought this movie was great. It was more disturbing than scary, but if you're into documentary-style films, I'd definitely recommend this one.

Wake Wood - Similar to Stephen King's "Pet Sematary", in a "for the love of God, if someone dies, don't try to bring them back because they will inevitable come back wrong" sort of way. It was pretty decent - by the end of it, I didn't feel like I'd wasted my time watching it. But with that said, it's not as good as "Pet Sematary", IMO.

Pet Sematary is a great and underrated movie in my view

I will keep an eye out for Wake Wood and Lake Mungo I have never heard of them...but they seem worth a look

I have heard of The Poughkeepsie Tapes...but knew nothing about it...it seems very interesting...I will try to see it soon

The Movie Network showed an ad for The Possession today...I think they are going to start showing it next week....I want to see it...it looks really spooky

A young girl buy a cursed box...

when I see it I will rant all about it

I saw The Possession when it was out in theatres. It was interesting enough, especially with the Jewish folklore aspect of it. It made me afraid to ever buy anything from garage sales, though. :p

I forgot....I wanted to ramble a little about my developing crush on Olivia Wilde...I am sure a large part of it is the roles she gets...but she seems like a very down to earth...tomboyish..sexually charged woman and I am very curious how much of that is acting and how much is real

ok.....now....let's chat!

Hello everyone...I hope everyone had a good Wednesday

Any other The Voice fans out there that are shocked Judith Hill is gone?...my final 4 is down to two now

Movie rant of the night

I saw Looper last night...it was much better then I thought it would be..good story...fairly well told with a few twists...worth a watch

Does anyone else mix up Shia LaBeouf with Joseph Gordon-Levitt?...I seem to do it all the time

I was pleasantly surprised by Emily Blunt...I did not it was her until the end of the movie...but I liked her in her role....she carried herself with a quiet sexuality

If you want to chat about this or anything else

Ask me anything!!!
