I am just sitting back watching the Spurs/Memphis game...I love the Spurs

I thought I would use this time to rant about the movies I watched last night

First...The Apparition...I had high hopes...but it was awful..decent story..but I have seen the story told far too many times before and I have seen the story told better

they did not give the movie enough time to tell a good story...it is only 82 mins total run time

The only saving grace of this movie (if you can call her that) was Ashley Greene...she is insanely hot in this movie

but even that is a tease..you see the outline of her naked body in the shower and her walking around in a nightie with her ass sticking out for no reason..but that is it....

good movie...based on true events...Law&Order SVU did an episode on the same true events a few years ago guest staring Robin Williams

I liked the movie...but it was sending my mind mixed signals all night...

on one hand I can't believe people can be such sheep and blindly do what they are told...

think for yourself say no

but on the other hand the Dom side of me wants to make up a game and/or rp based on this movie

speaking of rambling about a movie...I have talked about it on here before but if you have not seen Melancholia check it out...I would love to hear your opinion of it


I love music in general...but do not listen to near as much as I should anymore...I will listen to anything once....but for the most part I like rock 70's rock and 90's rock mostly...

but I also listen to Michael Buble..I like Jack White right now...Rihanna and Grace Potter

I haven't seem Melancholia in its entirety, but I have watched short clips of it and read plot summaries online (if a movie sounds interesting enough, I have no problem with spoiling the surprise for myself and reading about it on Wikipedia). From what I've seen and read of it, it sounds like a fascinating idea, but not quite my cup of tea. Movies with <possible SPOILER>doomsday, apocalyptic end-of-the-world themes are just too depressing for me.

As for music, I'll admit that Rammstein, Nightwish, and Lacuna Coil make up a significant portion of my playlist. As the Jamaican salesman at an HMV once told me, "You and I be jammin' to different beats!"

I just watched Paranormal Entity - I'm a horror fan, but unfortunately PE didn't do the trick for me. Plus I'm heterosexual, so the female nudity didn't help. Paranormal Activity was better in terms of build up, and its story made slightly more sense.

I watched...House at the end of the Street last night...here are my thoughts

I love Elisabeth Shue but the fact that she can play mom roles now just makes me feel old

the chemistry between Elisabeth Shue and Jennifer Lawrence was awful...I am sure this was mostly due to the writing...but I am hot and cold on Jennifer Lawrence anyway and I think this movie would have been better without her

all and all it was an ok movie..with some very good twists worth a watch I think

Anyone else have any thoughts on this or any other movies?

Both of these scare me equally...I would rather die of a heart attack in my sleep....just in my sleep...or suddenly

I think the mind has far fewer limits than the body - for example, I can imagine that I'm an astronaut or in the NBA, even if I'm physically incapable of either task. The lack of insight that can come with dementia frightens me. It would be scary if you had other people telling you that you were confused, or that everything you were convinced was real actually wasn't. And if you were having creepy hallucinations to boot - well, that would just be awful.

you could even pretend that you were an astronaut that played in the NBA on the side...maybe even bring the NBA to space

I agree completely with you...I do not want my mind to go...if my body continues to break down...my mind can find ways to make up for that..but if my mind goes my body will not be able to make up for it
