ok, so could we/should we do a poll to see which weekend is best? EG mentioned the first weekend would be best for him b/c of the D*C thing. The first weekend would be better for me as well. Everyone else planning on attending, please let us know what weekend would be best. Thanks!!

1763 usually has Drums of the Dungeon on the second Friday, a drum circle, dancing, and open play in the dungeon. And there is usually the Flesh & Fetish Ball the second Saturday of the Month - its a kinky swingers party hosted by SwingingAtlanta. I haven't attended either of these events yet. I'm more familiar with the Atlanta Regional Munch on the 1st Saturdays, and CAP (Community At Play) on the 3rd Friday and Whippersnappers (Under 40 crowd, I get in as a guest of janey! *LOL*) on the 3rd Saturday.

It might be difficult for some of us to attend some of these events due to age. I know for WS you have to be between 21-39 or a guest of someone to get in. Membership is required as well. ($20 at the door usually) 1763 is the same in reverse. If we have enough 'members to guests ratio, it won't be an issue. I guess we will just have to see how many people sign up to come.

My thoughts exactly. These events tend to always be full of a lot of pomp and circumstance as well. Not really the most condusive element to meet people for the first time in I think... but that is just my opinion.

I'm still looking into a few cool places to meet up so that everyone has fun- the young and the young at heart as well.

Let me know, guys, what everyone would like to do.

Any weekend or time is okay with me; my travel plans to ATL are always flexible. As I said before, my parents live there; I'm always hopping over to Hotlanta when the mood strikes me. (I'm only 3.5 hours west.)

I *hope* to be able to make it for ADR's weekend in Atlanta. However, I'm currently working toward trying to gather sufficient funds to pay my '07 taxes AND move to a new place by 5/1, or 6/1 at the latest, and I'm afraid that will *have* to take priority. So I can't make any promises at this point, except that I would certainly love to make it, and will if I can.

First weekend works good, 3rd weekend should be fine too. I'm a card carrying member of 1763, so is janey. Getting in to group events like ARM and CAP for out-of-state folks does NOT require the $20 annual membership, you can pay a $5.00 event only membership...

Hell, I like the atmosphere at 1763 and always have a great time. I think Furry and the other folks who met me there last time will attest to the energy and atmosphere. Yeah, some folks are into protocol, but most are pretty relaxed... Depends on the group and event I suppose.

Anyway, most any weekend is doable, including the second, janey said she can do something with her Mom before or after, she's easy.

And ADR, I most certainly would be coming to see you.

And Gigi.

And Bunny.

And Kitty.

And Sprinkles.

And Furry.

But not Yang. OR Winston. And especially not that hairy guy Homburg.

This really is the core issue. We've asked the parents to watch the munchkins a lot lately. Well, from their perspective it's a lot. I dunno that they'll be willing to watch em in May with us doing a long weekend in March.

This would be easier if the parents-in-law would occassionally watch the kids too, but that Does Not Happen.
