Rebecca, this is a free program you can use to record stuff. It's what I used because my Windows sound recorder had an awful screeching noise at the end of the file.

Mine is finally on it's way to Lou. Had a bit of a mic problem.

Finally got my mic working......sent a test message to Lou for when she is up and around. Way too early I should think for those with families.

Later, when I can control the cough, I will record a message.

I love everyone's voices, so each and everyone of you just stop bemoaning your accent, your age, how you sound. The voices are yours, as individual as your characters.

I think it should be mandatory now, to record regular messages to everyone. Hearing the actual voice makes it so much more personal. And that's got to be good between friends.

Heh, I should hook up my mixer to my line-in one of these days (maybe tomorrow or someday) and give once more a sample for the rest to hear.

I can also give decent help for those struggling to have their voices recorded. All you really need to do is to connect your headphones into your mic-in port and boost the What-U-Hear in the volume settings and open Sound Recorder... and voila!
