I think this is where my lack of ability to visualize at all gets in the way. I have to imagine what sex feels like. Those tingling sensations of new hands on my body. Or knowing hands that touch me in a way that only someone who has spent years exploring my body would know to touch me. I think that is why I find amateur and queer porn to be so relatable. It's not just about the visual production angle, there's legitimate connection and sexiness. That's the reason I have sex so it's what I look for in porn.

I do connect to some videos and can put myself in the "picture", but most of the time I'm enjoying the other people having sex and my just being along for the ride. It's cool to watch how other people do it. And remember when someone did that to me once.

I try not to use audio/visual stimulation. I think it limits my imagination and capacity to immerse myself in the fantasy. There have also been instances where I've been with a partner, and clips of videos and whatever would pop in my head. It's gotten to the point where I can no longer enjoy my time with my partner, without thinking about the videos.

I think I've said it before but I like to actually take my senses out of play. Use a blindfold and sound reducing headphones. Using sensory deprivation oh, I found that everything became more Vivid are more intense. I found that there was nothing breaking my immersion when I fantasized. Using that method in no way affected my performance or enjoyment when I was with a partner.
