I've only been gone for like a month and a half. (Only.)

Been pretty sick, and that on top of the Christmas bullshit at work, eh.

I loved Waters of Mars.... though one point when there was fire in space I cracked up at the complete disregard for basic physics...

It has Donna. Not *enough* Donna. But still, it makes up for it with a surfeit of Wilf.

And, don't disregard, Mars isn't The Moon, it does have atmosphere. Plus I bet that shuttle was venting a bunch of oxygen.

Although at that point I was too busy begging The Doc to do the right thing to really pay attention to the plot.

I'm still picking up the pieces, over here. I think I might be good, soon.

Still, fingers crossed. At least Moffat's in charge, now, and he made the bestest episodes with Nine and Ten.

They spiffied up The Blue Box so it looks better in HD. It doesn't look all run-down and wooden anymore! X(

Yeah, the insides look pretty cool, I've seen concept art. But the outside...

It looks about as weird an unnerving as The Doc's new face.

Plus, it's supposed to look old, because Type 40 TARDISes are frelling obsolete! It's supertastic alien goodness, but he stole it out of a Gallifreyan junkyard because he failed his driving test... twice.

Anyway.

So long as they don't change the sound effect, I'm good. Sound still gives me shivers, it does.

It's my start-up sound on my computer.

Sometimes I start-up the system and then wander off while it loads, trick myself into forgetting, just so I can hear the sound and be surprised by it all over again. It's a good feeling.

But, yeah. If someone put their speakers in a window and pumped out that sound...

Better than bagpipes, for me. Like Elton Pope in "Love and Monsters," I'd hit the ground running.

That episode made me cry huge tears. Fucking twist endings.

Elton's twist was pretty bad, too. But at least the inherent ridiculousness of his happily-ever-after kind of balanced it out.

Tudou's okay, but it tends to load way too slow for me at times. Still, it has its good points when it comes to movie watching.

Like, if it wasn't for that site, I might not have seen the third Re-Animator movie by now and found out that a reanimated penis can beat a zombie rat in a fight to the finish.

....I have a weird taste in movies and literature.

Also, I actually am working on a post. At least for Longshot, since I wasn't sure what to do with Crazula and my guy just yet, and kinda hadn't given much thought toward Ryota until now. So, yeah. heh
