Thanks Dart. Fortunately I am just still a bit sore with nothing long lasting that can't be dealt with by taking some NSAIDs. But I seem to be driving with a target on my truck as yesterday in a parking garage some chick backended me! We were all waiting on her to move into a parking space when she decided she needed more clearance and just started reversing and then just slammed into my front fender LOL. No real damage done...slight scrape to the fender, license plate buckled but I am started to feel jumpy in my car now wondering when hit number 3 is going to come!

How bad is your truck?

Thanks Brian for the thoughts and concerns. Fortunately, yesterday was my normal day off anyhow although I worked a 12 hour day on Tues right afterwards. My boo-boos weren't really that bad...mostly just caused by the seat belt stopping my forward motion and muscle tension. And even despite running over all the debris, my truck actually was damaged worse in the stupid parking garage fender bender I had yesterday. I think the gods are telling me to stay off the roads. Two accidents back to back where I was completely innocent bystander LOL. I have had worse injuries just from getting knocked around while caving/hiking/camping etc. Those bastards out on the roads are going to have to try harder if they want to really damage this gal LOL!

I got nailed about a year ago by a guy who "didn't see me" and jumped out in front of me. Well, I guess I actually hit him, to be 100 percent accurate - though I never remember seeing more than a flash to this day. I was going about 45 - hit so hard it sent me across three lanes - two of them oncoming traffic on a Saturday afternoon - and halfway up the curb on the other side of the road. Totaled my car and banged me up pretty badly too.
Oh -- and he didn't have insurance, which was a nice cherry on top of it all.
So feel better, sweety -- could have been much, much worse.

Eeeek....sounds horrible. Yes...it definately could have been worse. Tis amazing really (I need to give thanks to whatever fates control my life) that we came out of it as well as we did. (I had a passenger also.) So I am feeling quite lucky over all! I seem to have amazing luck at not being desperately hurt in these type of things. As a teenager I was in a horrible car wreck (once again...innocent..this time as a passenger) where the paramedics/fire dept. had to pry me out of the wreck. Survived that one with just some bad muscle pain, bruises and whiplash. I definately count my blessings!
