That's a variation of what Buckeyes fans say: My favorite football teams are the Buckeyes and whoever's playing Michigan. :D

I gotta admit, though, that I have rooted for Michigan on occasion, usually during bowl season when the ESPN guys are saying that the Big Ten is a lousy conference.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, I was born in Ohio and married a Michigan man, not to mention we now live in Michigan. You can imagine the dilemmas I face on Saturdays, hahaha. I found a solution though, I have adopted the Spartans! lol (still find myself rooting for the Bucs more times than not though :D ).

Man, what happened Sunday.

What happened on Sunday was that I lost my betting card because every single team I chose screwed me, lmao. Booooo. ;)

The more pressing question now, is what the heck went on last night??? Parcells pulled that one off w/a huge band of luck. I seriously considered turning it off early on the game...thought the Eagles had it pretty much wrapped up, glad I didn't, it turned out to be a pretty decent watch.

For the record, we're Lions fans in this house, you can imagine the pain and suffering we endure, wonk. A few nights ago I fell asleep laughing w/images of Harrington's grimaced expression whilst lying on the ground, from being sacked yet again danced through my mind. Ah, the agony. We haven't won a championship since 1957 and the future is still looking bleak, lol. This next game I don't know who to cheer on, I've chosen Atlanta as my SuperBowl pick in Vegas and they're playing our beloved Lions...guess this'll be the one game I don't mind who emerges victorious. Well, maybe I have a little more of a heartstring tug for the Lions, but I'll still be happy if The Falcons win. It's a win-win game for me, finally. :D

That's one way to compromise. :)

Finishing up my Masters there in Dec., so it's a justified one. ;)
Most definitely. :)

The Spartans seem to have self-destructed a bit since the first half of their game with the Buckeyes.

Self-destruction...what an awful term, Eilan...just terrible! ;) Gearing up for the Michigan game, I love a good rivalry. :D

This will be my one and only use of the dancing nana.

Oh, and if everybody were jumping off a cliff while having ass sex, I suppose I should be doing that, too? If that's the price I have to pay for popularity around here, then I'll pass, thanks. :D

10 points deducted from gryffindor house for eilan's faulty grammar-fu. the correct plural of trout as everyone knows is trout. :>

now & again, even the largest trout is inadequate to the task at which point, one must call in the cetaceans. :p

I shall resign from Lit, effective immediately. Or not.

Wow. I didn't know that, actually. Who would want more than one of them? :p

well, i do need two of them, cuz you know...

scalywag: that game pissed me the hell off! all i can say is that coughlin is gonna ride 'em about them giving seattle the game to pump 'em up for the showdown next week against dallas. the giants should have put that game away three separate times.

[grumbles]

man, i saw the pats game and all i can say is this: those injuries had to catch up to you some day. there was some very un-tom brady-like passing (2 picks? WTF?!) and some really bad coverage in the secondary but i guess that's to be expected when you've got 6 DBs hobbled.

damn it...who do you guys have next week?

ed

:p

if you don't like it, you don't have to keep bumping it to the top, bi. :>

[trout-smacks bi]

don't mind me: this is a shameless thread bump to keep it atop bi's "get some conversation going" thread. :D

ed

It must be that kind of day.

I just noticed that bi, who complains intermittently about this thread's very existence, actually answered the poll question at the head of the thread. Eilan, on the other hand, is the third most frequent poster and yet she never answered the poll.

Inquiring minds want to know... :D

And twisted former researchers find out what it is that inquiring minds want to know.
