BBW or Fat Women

Well ladies, for those of you not currently in a relationship rest assured there are FAR more of us out here that appreciate a woman confident in herself no matter WHAT dress size than some little skinny minny.

I think the number of posts in this thread alone that are supportive should demonstrate that.

hugs to all you lovely ladies

Dang..guess she told you..LoL

LoL..that was funny..

I didn't really mean that in a derogatory manner...I was just trying to find a way to describe those 6 foot size 2s and 0s that grace the runways.

LoL Dreamer..i know u didn't mean it bad..LoL but someone else might think otherwise..

That's why i put *giggling* next to that sentence..LoL

We wouldn't want any non bbw/rubenesque women to feel people were bashing them or making them feel less of a person..i saw that on a thread not to long ago..some people are kinda sensitive like that on these boards..LoL

I on the other hand say FUCK IT..LoL

Just as long as I KNOW i'm beautiful..and think highly of myself and carry myself in that matter..i don't care what people say about me..LoL They can call me fat, ugly, bbw, whatever..LoL
Just as long as i feel good and look good to myself..i don't trip over words coming from the mouth of an ignorant person..LoL *Shrugs*

Yeah well I've stepped in that big steamy pile before. I prefer bigger women and sometimes just having a preference can get the other side all riled up...

Eh, as beautiful as women are it still surprises me every day I wake up and the headlines DON'T read : "Women voted, we don't need men anymore."

Still hoping I'm long gone before that day comes...

Yeah i've seen people get hella bent out of shape over a prefrence one has..my best friend has a brother that loves bigger girls..and one day there was a bbw girl (which was real pretty) and a skinnier girl (who was pretty also) and the skinny one approached him..and he said i think you're pretty but i like bigger girls, is your friend single..and she lost it..she started yellin about how all these guys are liking bigger girls these days and how she felt like she had to gain weight to get noticed..i just sat there amazed on how she reacted..LoL

As far as the headlines..LoL I don't think i'll even be alive when that happens..LoL..then again ya never know eh?? LoL

Big or little...there is more than size that gets people riled up over preferences. For instance, I ONLY date black men...not that I hate white men, but my preference is for black....on top of that, I only date medium to way dark guys. My man disappears when the lights go out unless he smiles. :D (If yall wanna see a pic, let me know and Ill post a link). When I state that preference, even the light skinned bruthas get pissed. So the old saying goes, you can please all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but you cant please all of the people all of the time. My personal saying...."Fuck you...if you dont like it then I dont care." Anyways...thats just me.....

 yall

I can appreciate that...BUT I think there's a huge difference between a preference and a rule. I LOOOVE a nice voluptous, alabaster skinned, auburn haired beauty. But I would date the right black, asian, blonde, whatever in a heartbeat, skinny or not.

I think it's not saying "I prefer black men" that get people riled up. It's saying "I only date black men" that makes it sound like you not only prefer black men but have something against all others.

Therein lies the rub.

It's amazing how just a couple words that mean relatively the same thing can be heard by someone and intrepreted sooo differently.

We all like ya anyhow... ;)

Thank you dreamer...though I must say, I like white men just fine, but now my black only is a rule, the shade is a preference. I have that rule b/c my stats with white men weren't so good.
1) Raped me (we were engaged and I was a virgin)
2) Verbal abuse
3) lied to me excessively and cheated on me with a woman who was married and lived 700 miles away, then acted astonished when I found out.
4) Left me to be with a man 2 months before our wedding.

I reached the point where I had had enough. Not to say I will NEVER date another white man, but he would have to be one hell of a catch. Now Im not dissing anyone who does, as long as you are happy....thats the biggie.

Now - to make things more interesting....My female preference is white BBWs...never had a black woman.....may have to try that
*naughty naughty thoughts* :p

PS - Just a ??? How do ya'll do the quotes

Right above where the post reply button is there's a quote button...just hit that on the post you wish to quote...

Then delete the parts of the quote you aren't specifically referring to make it easier to read.

The how to board moves A LOT slower than the general board so quoting isn't as important if you're referencing the previous post but on the general it's a REALLY good idea because by the time you've typed your reply a dozen more posts could've been made.

Oh...and btw...I understand your heart tells you one thing re:white men...but try to listen to your head when I say there are TERRIBLE men of all races just as there are GREAT men of all races.

I'd hate to think anyone would pass up a good thing because they had a bad experience in the past.

<hugs> from a guy as white as they come..hehe

Beauty

Women have always been the subject of great works of art. Sometimes covered from head to toe, their only feminine attribute a dress, or fully naked, hiding their secrets behind their flesh. These images of women are never rendered without society some how changing its natural beauty. Courbet's "Women with a Parrot," holds the shocking image of a disheveled woman, but she has no pubic hair. Early Christian paintings were of women who appear shapeless with dour expressions. There seems to be a fear of the female form, that's why supermodels have to loose their natural body shape and construct an unnatural form, such as breast implants or processing their hair. Straight hair becomes curly, black becomes blonde. We as a society, and I'm including women, treat the Turlingtons and the Pamela Andersons like goddesses and turn their beauty into a religion that we worship feverishly. Just as god made man in his image, our society attempts to make women into the image of a supermodel. And we pray and follow this religion obsessively. We drink elixirs that will bring us closer to this god-like image, regardless of the damage it creates in our bodies, we give monetary offerings at cosmetic counters across the world fixing our faces, even as our minds go hungry, and we punish our bodies for betraying us by getting old.

Oh, there's nothing wrong with loving our bodies. Buying a pretty dress, or sexy sandals to attract the attention of men or women. But there is something terribly wrong with judging or limiting a person by their size. Or making someone feel bad about themselves because they fail to fulfill our idea of beauty.

To Trainer, if you are real and didn't make up the story of sleeping with over a 1,000 women, after all how many men lie about their sexual conquest. You are not alone. Your problem is ignorance, which appears to be derived from inexperience. I hope that these responses, specifically the angry ones, will help to expose you to a world you are not aware of. Reality.

Very nicely said Marie.

I am sincerely looking forward to posts 4+ from you.
