That's what I was thinking! A board game would be a good thing to have around when the power went out if you had some candles though.

That's good. I like board games.

They are good old fashioned fun.
My brother and his gf are into them, and that got me more into them.
I like games of any kind.
However I found a website where I can design and get printed my own game.
You can even publish it and get it sold to other making actual profit.
I'm all but complete with my first one now.
All I need to do is design the box cover and my company logo.

You haven't missed my game yet, it's not quite finished.
Should finish it in the next night or so, then I actually have to buy it and try it out.
I don't want to publish it without it being perfect.

They certainly do have board games.
They generally are less expensive than videogames and offer more human interaction than said videogames,
so in the current always plugged in and online environment of our modern world, they provide the social entertainment people have been lacking.
Then there's kids who always like games.
Also, there are board game hobbyists who like these intense, more detailed board games.

I was at my new local game and hobby shop during one of their game nights (trading card game tournament and casual boardgaming)
and was surprised how many people showed up.
A kid that was about 6 or 7, a man that was in his mid-50s at least, and everyone in between.

Now that I'm designing my own, I'm getting more and more into it.
I want to buy it and bring it to the store and see if I can't get some interest.
