Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, however, continues to perform much better against the presumptive Republican nominee than Clinton and is currently beating him by a full 12 points, 52 percent to 40 percent. Why does Sanders do better than Clinton against Trump? Bernie is still polling better than Hillary in the open election, not one restricted to Democratic voters. The Supers will have a decision that will prove how much loyalty to "The Party" they have by selecting the one who out polls Trump by double digits in Key voting states.

You just can't understand that the Democratic Party super delegates aren't going to change in droves to someone who isn't even a Democrat, has done jack shit for the Democratic Party, and has lost his chance to get anything he wants from the party by not negotiating for his slice of the platform and being a gadfly to the end. He only polls as he does at the moment nationally against Trump because he has no history to pull negatives out of considering he isn't accepted at this point by either the Democratic or Republican parties as a serious candidate. If he were (and if by some miracle he got to that point), he'd be torn apart by anyone who wanted to point out that he's done practically nothing in his entire political life. Of the two the Republicans would love to have him in the White House, because he'd be totally dead in the water there. He has no means to get anything done that he wants done. He's just about frittered any chance of that away by not leveraging the party and Clinton while he could have.
