Bernie!

Well I'm not a shirker, I voted for Bernie today. Now SR can hoot on me for not recognizing Hillary's vast experience and lock stepping with the other lemmings, but I didn't say "Oh Fuck it, I'm staying home if Bernie can't win."

You Golden Bears need to vote, even for Trump if you must, but show the establishment that "You're mad as hell and won't take their shit anymore!"

The establishment has claimed victory yet again....what's the point?

Oh, I figured you'd do some whining and that there would be some quotes posted by you trying to show that what was happening wouldn't actually happen.

It's all over but the counting now. I'll wait for the formal nomination to change my signature, but I don't see an exit strategy for Bernie other than endorsing Hillary.

RIP Political Revolution. Maybe some reform can still happen, but a major, non-violent revolution is history for this term, at least. We're all going to get screwed in 2020, as there is no way that Hillary is going to win a second term. She'll beat Trump, but not even the GOP is going to be that stupid again. Get used to saying President John Kasich, President Marco Rubio, or President Ted Cruz come January 20, 2021.

That's not an exit strategy. I've exited many places looking in the direction I was going & walking forwards. Endorsing Hillary is walking backwards, apologizing for ever running, & waving 2 handfuls of white flags.

Agreed.

But President Kasich wouldn't be bad at all and who knows if Cruz or Rubio will have strong showings in 2020.

A President Tulsi Gabbard wouldn't be too bad. Even better would be a President Nina Turner.

The sick thing is that Kanye West is arguably more qualified to be President than Trump....and that's not saying much for the Donald, because I wouldn't want Kanye West anywhere near the White House.

Well this is good....let's hear the argument.

Because I don't think he is any more qualified to be POTUS than Trump.

Well, it's a negative superiority, mind you. Mostly because he hasn't said or done anything to indicate that he would trample our civil liberties or anything fascist like that. So, not exactly an endorsement there.

Fair enough. I keep forgetting the time zones there vs. here in Arizona.

Sucks ass, but we got the nominee that we voted in, thus the one that we deserve. I'll hold my nose and hope that the FBI clears her, so we don't stuck with the Drumpf.

Fair.

But considering the absolutely in-fucking-sane shit he's said just as a washed up hip-pop egomaniac, I wouldn't make too big a' bet on him not.

Besides NOBODY gave a fuck about civil liberties when any other POTUS/Congress of the last 40 years completely SHIT all over them.

Why would Trump/West doing it matter?

Well, to be honest, I know next to nothing about him, other than he doesn't have a political platform at all. :D

And that he married some lawyer's daughter who was in a sex tape and reality TV show. I hear that she's hot, though.

Yea...I'm not all up to date on his latest nuttery but from the exposure I have had he's a total egomaniac, every bit the egomaniac Trump is.

Which is why I used him as a comparison.

Looks like California is verifying their hatred of poor people.

I'm sure the sites neoLibz are ecstatic about another win for the billionaire class.

And people in this state pride themselves in being so fuckin' progressive...LOL what a god damn joke.

As a lifelong Ohioan who barely spent 3 days in as many decades out of the country, I will tell you Kasich serving in politics at all is nothing BUT "bad".

The way I see it, I've come to call this year "the Great SCOT Election". Our choices (in order of best-to-worst, IMO):

Sanders
Clinton
"Other" (anyone who hasn't publicly turned it down or ended their campaign)
Trump
.

Trump is in worse legal trouble than she is. It isn't just Trump University. His campaign financial reports and his tax form claims aren't adding up.

And if the FBI goes after her they now have to go after Colin Powell and Condolezza Rice too. Of course there may be more coming up to go after Clinton on too--some foundation problems, but those would seem to stick to Bill more than her.

Why is that?

Apparently it doesn't agree with you. There are two ways of looking at that.
