Best dating site experiences?

So a female friend and I were discussing online dating sites. She said the best one was Match blah blah blah. I said that one was a bit of a scam and that POF was way better and free for most functionality. She said that free is good for men, but that for a woman, to find a quality man you need to have the man pay. LOL We both thought that these were terrible sites for finding someone to hook up with or for a fetish. What is your experience with online sites? LIT is great but most people live thousands of miles away when it comes down to it.

Forgot to add mine. I have met three women in person from LIT and they were all fantastic and amazing. Other sites not so much.
