Boy do I feel your pain. I just moved my ex out of my house, where he lived after ice storm made him powerless at the end of January and he had been kicked out of his apartment....and too many other things. I helped him get job, and my friends took pity and we all chipped in and got him deposit and first month's rent so we could get him out into his own place. He moves into apartment and I want to go out and celebrate, my friends invite him along because "he does not have any friends". Well he needs to make his own friends, and LEAVE MINE ALONE. The worst part is, I was nice to him about his living circumstances for longer than we dated. I know sheer stupidity.

Yes, I been reminded to not be so nice any more. I affects too many other aspects of your life. It will get better, it has in my case.
