Biker's Run..........................

Good evening, everyone.... :)

Woohoo the weekend is here... :nana: The snow and ice has been melting like mad. Which makes me very happy...! I would be even happier if that 3 inches of snow misses us tomorrow night that the weather guesser's say were gonna get. This is the winter that refuses to leave!

Sassy being a biker is really a life style. Most of the true biker's I know are really good people. Some look they would rip the head off your shoulders just for fun. But, in fact they give ya the shirt off there back or their last dime. I'm limited to riding evenings and weekends. I don't trust my iron horse parked at work in the lot. I've got to much work into her to come out and find a car parked on it. Honestly I like the idea that more gals are getting into bike now day. I mean riding them. Now i wouldn't mind follow'n you done the road check'n out your ass... :D After a few clicks on the speedometer. We could find a desolate area were we could work on those other itches for 4 or 5 hours...

Hey, Doc always good see'n you my friend. The warm weather is coming ( slower to some of us ) and are little thread is gett'n busier... :) Of course with all these lady vixen's around that doesn't hurt either... ;)

KnightWing happy to hear you got some saddle time. This winter has been crazy here in New England. But in the fall when the leafs start to change color it's beautiful riding in Connecticut.

Whspr, it's just that I'm one of those rough fuck type of guys all night long... ;)

Secret, secret, secret do you really think that a confident woman threatens me... :D The women I date have to be intelligent and very exciting. If you can't stimulate my mind how do you plan to keep me around. I love agressive women. You want something? You grab onto it with both hands and hold on tight cause it's gonna be ONE HELL OF A RIDE... :D You can take that as a threat or a promise...

Well I have company coming up from New Jersey this weekend. A very good friend. Not sure how much I'll be on over the weekend. So I'll wish everyone a super great weekend if I don't see ya.

Stay warm, stay dry, and stay upright...!

Well, Jaded...I didn't say I didn't ever want it wild and rough...<giggles>
Hell, I'll take it any way I can get it!!!

Hey Doc – gettin’ caught in the rain is always fun (especially if you’re with the right person). You got a list you’re checking off of fantasies fulfilled and yet to be? I might be able to help you with that list if you ever get just west of Lake Michigan and 2 hours north of Chicago or maybe in the general vicinity. ;)

Jaded don’t get your fur all up hon – I have no doubt that you can hold your own and mine too for that matter. I’m not that aggressive just sure of what I want and when I see it I try for it. I’ll take your comments as a promise – you don’t seem very threatening to me.

g-mornin' everyone,

...Kinda stuck in the house for awhile this mornin', ol' woman has gone to get her hair cut, so I have been keepin' the gr-daughter.... :) ...shes finally layed back down for a nap.
...Kinda cloudy lookin', but still s'pposed to be nice later, figured I mite stay close today, got plenty to do, but get out and ride tomorrow. Wanted to make myself a long weekend, but that didn't pan out, so will do the best with whats left.
...Hope everyone has a great day...

...Ride safe, but ride...

Good morning, one and all... :)

It's Saturday morning... :) Spent so far this morning cleaning kitchen and check to see how those steaks are marinating. I still need to clean the bathroom, change the bedsheets, and run a vacuum over the carpets. My week end guest won't be here until later this afternoon.

Snake I don't hear Grandpa complaining to loud about watching the newests princess... ;) I think she lucked out getting you as a gramps... :D

It's sunny here for now. However the weather guesser's are still sticking to there guns about the 1 to 3 inches of new snow. Just when you thought it was safe to go putt'n the snow is back...:(

I will probably be among this weekend. Shit a man has gatta do what a man's gotta do... :nana: "All day, all night, Mary Ann. Who do you think I am Superman..."

Have a super great week end everyone... :D

Stay warm, stay dry (with the exception's of Whspr and Secret...), and stay upright... :)

Morning All, We're suppose to get only one inch of snow tonight after heavy rain which is suppose to hit first. The problem is if they sand and salt again. The roads still have a lot of it that needs to be washed off with rain as it is. The other thing is that the roads are still heaving pretty bad from the frost. I think it's going to be another week or so although Monday it's suppose to be in the mid 60's and sunny. What a teaser huh? Everyone have a good one!!!

Went bike shoppin today. Wow..they got some nice lookin new bikes out this year. Thinking real hard about a 1900 Suzuki. Has the works on it. Love the input of "old style" with the newer performance. But damn it is hard to get away from the Wings. Spoiled by them I guess.

I've seen this thread when I come into the playground. I finally started reading it a few days back. I've only known a couple of weekend bike riders, and not that well.

As for what you said to Sassy, above... I did meet and get to know a Hells Angel fairly well. What you said to Sassy is true. He was one of the best guys I've ever known.

You know, its a funny story. I was always leary and even afraid of them. When I met him, he'd just gotten out of prison. His wife lived in the apartment building I did, but I didn't know her. We all started chatting, my apt was right next to the back entrance door, as well as sundeck. Anyway, he looked like a cowboy to me. Shirt, jeans, cowboy boots. Tattoo's up both arms, but I didn't notice them for some time. lol I'm not a very visual person. Generally, I'm looking at someones face when talking and thinking more than looking. Thinking about what they're saying and what I'm going to say.

We had some very nice talks. He and his wife came over for drinks, sometimes just to hang out on the deck for awhile. I was surprised to find out he was a Hells Angel. In fact, I didn't really believe it. I mean, there are some pretty strange, crazy, messed up people out there, how can you know?

I found out, through friends I knew, that in fact he was one. He told me he brought that faction of them over from the U.S originally. It all sounded outlandish to me. His wife said when they were on the island, and they had only dated for awhile, when they road down the street they'd salute him. I mean.... it was hard to believe. So, a couple of friends I knew, had frequented parties put on by the Angels on the island. They confirmed who he was to me.

Anyway, he said it was a compliment I didnt' notice his tattoos, which he called sleeves. He said you have to do certain things to get one of them. I asked what things and he said he wouldn't tell me.

I was very surprised at the kind of person he was, a good man. I told him that when growing up, there was this blue grass festival I think it was called. A few miles outside of town every year. Kelowna B.C. Every year there would be a murder or two. Everyone went, not just the Hells Angels. I still thought, and everyone thought, that they were responsible for them.

He said to me, how could you know that? it could have been anyone. I smiled and realized I was predjudiced. I will forever think differently of Hells Angels. He and his wife moved. In the time I knew him, he helped me fix many things on my car. He also tole me about one of his friends, that had a shop and did mufflers. He took my car for me, had it done, for a really cheap price. He hauled a table off my deck that I wanted thrown away. He was a good man.

He told me, if you're ever in trouble, when out, or out for drinks. If anyone is bothering you or you need help. If there are any Hells Angels around, ask them for help, they will take care of you. :)

Good evening, everyone... :)

The weekend is coming to a close. Dam they are way to short...:( My lady friend just left a little while ago to return to New Jersey. We had a great time chatting and doing other thinks... She is a very smart lady and provided great mind stimulation. I was very happy that the snow missed us completely. I didn't like the idea of her driving back to NJ in nasty weather.

Doc glad to hear you got some saddle time in this weekend. I am going to start getting mine ready next weekend for the 2007 riding season.

Smuttyboy2 I think about the only bike I would get rid of my GoldWing is a Harley. I know a Wing rides better and is a hell of a lot more reliable than a Harley but I can't help but love the sound a Harley makes... ;)

Webbo I gather the operation isn't a problem anymore my friend. That's good to hear... :)

Lorelei, the is a major difference in ol'd biker verses new bike. But then I try never to pre judge people cause they will surpise you every time. By the way welcome to Biker's run! Have fun and enjoy your stay. When you are here your among friends and family. This thread belongs to all of us and we enjoy sharing in on the fun.

Secret not sure were the picture was taken but the caption below the picture is "Out were men are men and sheep a nervous..."

Whspr be very careful what you agree upon... ;)

Well gang gonna kick back with the TV for a little while then head off to bed. Rough weekend those 28 year older's do have a lot of energy...

Have a super great evening and catcha later... :)

Stay warm, stay dry, and stay upright.

My latest Harley hasn't missed a beat since I bought it in late 01. My old AMF shovel was a different story though, although I wish I had it back. I ended up turning that superglide into a chopper after a garage fire somewhat swallowed the stock bike. I put the motor and tranny in a drag specialties rigid with a 10" over P&P girder. That was back before choppers were fashionable in the early 80's. You can't beat the sound of a Harley!!!

Nice bike Hazeny....

Hey Jaded and all the great bike riders out there. Hope all is well your way. It was 83 and sunny here today, great riding weather. Of course i was away all weekend, but i got some riding in at the end of the day found a nice curvy rode that ran along the Mighty Missouri, so it ended up being a great day!

Oh, I didn't know there was a difference. I generally don't pre judge anyone. I like to find out what a person is like. Then I decide what I think. When it comes to Hell's Angels. I just felt they are dangerous. I like to make sure I'm safe whenever possible. So, they freaked me out and I'd avoid them.

It was a good thing I met him. He changed my whole perspective and understanding of them. That, was a very good thing. :)

Thankyou for the welcome to Bikers run. Sounds just like my kind of place.

Jaded...I'm sure I wouldn't be sorry for agreeing to that...:D

It was beautiful here in Ohio today. While I was out driving I must have passed a half million bikes. I thought about all of you here. I hope you got to enjoy some great weather. Man, I was longing to be on one of those bikes myself. ahhhhhhhhh....spring is in the air!!!

I hear ya Whspr and agree completely. Every bike I saw today I wanted to be on (and some of the bikers too). ;) It was 76 today, sunny, breezy - would have been a great day to strap on a bike(r) and just go.
Tornado watches and thunderstorm warnings here tonight but supposed to be great again tomorrow. :nana:
