Good evening, everyone...

Tuesday was a absolutely beautiful day dam near hit 70 degrees. Today it made it to 60 and tomorrow back to the low 50's with windy. I am still going to get the bike ready for riding season this weekend even though they are predicting only the 50's all this week.

Been busy running around getting birthday cards and presents for my beautiful married daughter and very handsome married son. My son's birthday is this Friday and my daughter's birthday on Sunday. I will probably go to my son's place this weekend. My daughter lives in Texas. Un fortunately I don't get to see her as much as I'd like.

Glad to see are little thread as active as it is. It's coming into are season gang. Tuesday I must have seen 5 or 6 guys out on there bikes. I want to change the oil and filter. Also the differental fluid. The coolant got changed last year. There are new brake pads front and rear last year.

Cory's will start having bike night soon. Love to go down and hang out with everyone... I plan to get a lot more saddle time this year.

Awww Jaded *blushing* Thank you so much for your support. Even though we don't know each other very well yet (hoping to change that ) your opinion means a lot to me. The ride is approaching sooner than I feel I'm ready for but I'm gonna do my level best. Not sure I'll be at the front of the pack - I wouldn't give all those guys the pleasure of watching my tail all the way across Iowa.

Secret I have learned alot about people by what they say and how they say it. How you express yourself I can tell that your a positive person. I hate it when people tell me I can't do something. We have our stubborn pride in common J. A lot of people told me I'd never make it through Fire Academy and I did it mostly just to spite them but I also did it for myself. To prove that I wasn't a quitter. The same is true of this ride. Many people have told me I'm gonna quit or not go at all - well, watch out cuz' I'll finish or die trying. (I've got this nasty little pit bull that lives way down deep inside me - don't want to let him loose but just tell me I can't do something and you're gonna see him come at you fangs flashing).

J - maybe someday we can actually meet in person and I can let you have a look at the very things that make you weak. Better hope you don't get too weak though - you may need some energy for - ummm - well, we can discuss that if we get together.

It's a chill 28 degrees outside... Hey Doc wanna send some of that near 90 degrees weather this way. It's Thursday and my late day at work today...

I have cabin fever and want to get the yard cleaned (once the snow piles disappear) up after winter and get the patio furniture out. I have one of the webber grilles out already. Still have a second webber grill, gas grille, and smoker that needs to come out. I find myself hunting for new recipes for BBQ's this summer...

Oh J - honey I've never crawled away from a bed in my life and I'm not about to start with you.

Now Secret we have never spent naughty time together either. See you may have two firsts cuming up in the very near future...

Cold here again. Guess we had just a tease of summer last week and now back to early spring again. Supposed to be like this into next week yet - rainy/windy and just not fit weather for getting out and doing any work or just having fun.

Hey J - I haven't seen your Wing yet - post a pic for me so I can see that beautiful bike. It must be huge to be able to hold up that enormous ego of yours.
It will be great getting together with you sweets.

Whspr - it is fun to shoot the breeze like this - just tryin to keep things light and easy. I'd have to agree with you - I think Jaded is in for a real good time.

My husband and I ride a Honda Motorcycle. I have my license but hubby does all the driving because it is too big a bike for me. Spring is here, so riding weather is upon us!!!

OK Thursday is down and one more day to go until the weekend...

Whspr, I worked the grave yard shift only for three months when I worked at Grumman/Aerospace for Nasa out of Bethpage, L.I.. It was during the pre testing and landing of the lunar module on the moon surface. I worked from 6 pm to 6 am for about 3 month. The money was super great but my system didn't want to adjust at all... Are you able to handle the over night without problems...

Good evening Secret... It's chilly and windy here again too. They are saying we will be hell bent to get into the 50's this weekend. I still have piles of snow in the front yard. Besides doing some riding I want to start setting out patio furniture and grilles. As far as posting a picture of my Wing I have tryed and the file is to big. Lit has a 100kb limit and the picture of my bike is almost 400kb. If you want to see it you'll have to email me your addy. I'll show you my bike if you'll show me yours... Oh by the way when is this cross state taking place so we can cheer you on?

Please enjoy your stay and have fun. We try to keep everyone informed of current motorcycle events in are area. Hopefully we can get some of us together this summer to meet each other...

Sorry I can't help you with the weather - all we're expecting for about the next week is 50's and rain. grrrrr

Too bad you can't jam your bike pic into Photobucket or something and load it here that way. That's where I do my pics from - in any case I'll PM you my email and you can send your bike that way (should any other pictures - say of you riding your bike or perhaps just your fantastic body minus some clothing - fall in to that email I wouldn't mind either)

The ride across Iowa is July 22-28. Just THE hottest time of year in Iowa. Should be a great deal of fun sweating but there is always the "sun-showers" at the campgrounds to look forward to. I wouldn't mind seeing a contingency of Patriot Guard riders waiting for me - if I have any energy left at the end of the day we could all throw back a couple beers and relax (or something like that).

50's here this morning but still cloudy and threatening rain. J hon - wish I could provide you with some body heat other than the thoughts I'm sending you of how warm it will be once we get together.

That "circle of safety" sounds very good to me - I'm just not sure the other bikers would appreciate motorized attendents. Last year there was in excess of 22,000 cyclists and at least if not more expected this year. Lance Armstrong will ride again and he usually guarantees a large crowd. Also, with this being campaign season there is expected a large contingency of politicians to show up for "meets and greets." It could all end up being a real cluster but I think it will be fun anyway if the whole thing don't kill me. Anyway there is always porkchops, pie and beer to look forward to and, of course, camping and extracurricular activities throughout the night.

Have a great day all. Just a few more hours and weekend freedom time. (well for most anyway - KW how's your class going? Those new bikers learning anything or are they too busy drooling over the instructor? - I know I would be. )

Woohoo it's the weekend... This work week seemed to last for ever. Tomorrow I want to start bring out the grilles and patio furniture. I have a couple of spots in the yard that needs to be re grass seeded. It is my belief that by doing this that winter will get the hint and finally leave... I have cabin fever big time!

Secret I think this morning would have been the ideal morning to have just snuggled up in that California king size water bed of mine. After it warmed up I am dam sure we could think of something to do for a few hours...
