..Thank you for the kind thought....I don't really know about the gentleman part, I always use the manners taught to me by my mother but being a gentleman might be deeper than that and I suspect I could always use some improvement...and it was me who was the lucky one...she is a special woman and I am the only man, it seems, that knows that...

Thank you for making my day...hope your was a great one, too.. :rose: :rose:

Okay, now you put a smile on my face, too. :rose: I think all of us could use improvements in some area of our being...part of it is the willingness to admit it. You've already accomplished that...so see you are well on your way to being a true gentleman. I'm happy to get to know you.

Have a nice day!!!

Good morning, girls and boys.... :)

It is a dam chilly morning here in Woodbury at 38 degrees. I closed the windows last night. It's supposed to be another cool day here in New England. Friday hot and humid. Then cool again for the weekend. Well it is New England if ya don't like the weather stick around for a few minutes it'll change... ;) Planning on going over to backrest place for steaks and .... tonight...

Want to wish everyone a super great Thursday. Catcha ya all later... :D

Thats cool, I think that would be an interesting hobby, capturing life.

I don't like my picture taken. :) I have thought, that I might go to a professional and have some done, someone that knows what they're doing. There are places that do lingerie as well.

I do lingerie quite well, I must say.

I'd need a lot of time, to get comfortable, even with cloths on. Thats why I was thinking of a couple hour session at least. Thats why I chickened out, I don't like my pic taken. I think it would be best if I became good friends with the photographer. lol and how does that happen? Hi, I'm camera phobic, wanna hang out for what seems like forever before you take my pic. lol :)

Thankyou. :)

That was taken with my hand extended. I found it very hard to take my own pic, I looked extremely distressed, had to leave the camera in the same spot and take pics over and over until my eyes were watering, before the look of extreme distress wore down, and then there were some that look angry, and upset. I had some bad experiences with camera's having my pic taken when I was young.

..well that one makes me think I was standing next to you as you were working on the computer and as I marveled at how lovely you looked, you glaced up at me with a total look of adoration...<snap>...what happens next I will keep to myself as it is something best not expressed in public..... :rose: :rose:

Thankyou, what a nice compliment. :) I'm thinking I shouldn't put up the one where I'm sitting on the loveseat, when the pic was made smaller for Av, I look angry. I think there is the big version here on my pyjama thread, and it looks pretty normal.

Happens all the time my dear. Some women are camera phobic some just want to jump in and do it. I have chatted with some 3 minutes and some for 3 months before they got in front of my lens.

Thats nice of you, a typical photograher wouldn't do that. So, I have no pics except the ones I took with my own hand, which let me tell you is difficult, and even though it was me doing it, just seeing the camera was distressing.

This just made my day...

Good morning, everyone... :)

Today is a day off for me. So I have a nice extended weekend.... :) Just relaxing here staring out the window with a nice morning cup of coffee and enjoying the peace and silence. Just the bird chirping and a very occassional car passing by. It is going to be a hot humid day today. I want to get the lawn cut this morning before the heat sets in. Then I am going to go for a ride... :nana: Not sure what direction I am going to head off in. I know a beautiful state park called Mt. Tom. There is a beautiful clear lake and small beach. There has never been a power boat on the lake. It's only for row boats and very small sail boats. I can walk into the water waist high and still see my toes... :) Perhaps I'll spend the afternoon there relaxing. Hope the water isn't to cold, I hate shrinkage... :( Trust me I will be thinking of you guys.... ;)

Doc, sorry my friend. Look at it as pay back for the comments on the fact I sleep naked. Bro with your comment about being into lingerie my sick mind instantly put up a visual of your hairy ass peeking out from under the edge of a cutie little baby doll out fit. Sorry my friend but that would be nasty... :(

We just want to wish everybody a super Friday. The weekend is close at hand... :D Catch up with ya later. If ya can go put your mug into the wind... ;)

Sounds like you have a pleasant day lined up. I have 2 more days of work myself (though 1 is self inflicted) and then 2 days of freedom. Going over to a small bike shop not too far from here and start some negotiations. Have to see how they react...I've actually had some salesmen inquire was I looking at bikes for my husband/boyfriend or they'll inform me that particular model doesn't come in pink,lol...Troglodytes.

Mt. Tom ...haven't been there in what seems like decades. Used to go to Kettletown a lot as well. You're making me homesick.

Well Cyikac if you can tolerate being a back rest jump on the back... :)

I am not sure how long it has been since you have been back to Connecticut but Kettletown has changed a lot. Unfortunately with all the power boats on lake zoar it has caused a problem with the eco system. The lake by mid summer become over grown with alergy. I was just there recently fishing (bass fishing that is) and the water is starting to get a fowl oder... :(

I like Mt, Tom because of the pinic benches. If you want to take a break from the beach you can always go under the trees at the pinic talbes and cook a little lunch up in a gas grille. I love making a day of it there.

It sound like one young lady need to spend a extended weekend in Connecticut... ;) Who know perhaps CT will regain another biker chic... :)

Thanks for saying young lady, by the way, lol....

And it's a shame about Kettletown, but you are right about Lake Zoar. The last time I traveled down Rte 84 to Waterbury I noticed the number of powerboats increased as did the number of houses. It's a shame too. Wasn't like that in the 60's and 70's when I was a kid.

When I need alone time I go to one of the local battlefields and walk.

That is one of the things that always seem to amaze me about people. They will make a large investment in a house on the water then do there damnest to try to destroy it. I would think that they would make every effort to try and clean things up but they don't want to waste the effort.

My son recently bought a house on Candlewood Lake and they seem to try to keep the water clean.

For me my down time is either off on the bike or fish'n... :)

Now as far as the age comment. People age when they allow it to happen... ;)

Well I have to sayings about age....
one is a rip off of Indiana Jones... It's not the years, it's the miles

the other is...Old age sucks but it beats the alternative

Though I did get a compliment from a younger coworker who is in her 20's. I don;t think she meant it the way is sounded but she said when she got old she wanted to be just like me,lol. I told her when I got old I wanted to be just like me too.

Evening All, it was a real scorcher today, but we are about to pay for it shortly as some nasty storms are set to move through and cool things off. Actually within the next hour or so...70 mph winds and penny size hail. ..ugh...Hopefully all the people that rode up to The Americade in Lake George, NY have some good places to shelter their bikes from this line of storms. On a good note I did manage to put 30 or so miles on today even though it was near 95 degrees. Nice way to work on my tan for the Rendezvous in a few weeks...lol....

I hear ya about that hail. I rode in it last Tuesday. Found some shelter under an overpass but a stupid cage driver put all of us in danger by trying to jam her car under the bridge too.
Tomorrow I'm heading off to Laconia. Got a house on Squam Lake for the week. I only hope these storms move out of here before I have to leave. Hate leaving in the rain.

I'll be checking back next week sometime.
