That's great news!
I'm glad things are going well. I'm getting ready to do some remodeling on my house. While I'm not looking forward to all the work that needs done, I am definitely looking forward to the finished product! I'm getting a new kitchen which is long, LONG overdue! Yea!!!
My contractor starts when I get back from my vacation in August. He's great. He does work cheap for me, because when I was a Realtor, I sent a lot of work his way.

oh it's a perfect day here. Warm, with an almost rain that feels more like a thick soaking mist. Sorta what I imagine the weather to be like in the pacific northwest. Totally yummy day, and just as soon as I wake up I'm ...

there must be more. I'll think of it after some more coffee.
ohai Master Fool joined me for dinner in a surprise guest appearance last night. It was most excellent to see him. I did my best not to embarrass myself as much as I did last time, but it probably didn't help.
gmorning, all

I did get my new toy thankyou lot of good it's done me though the voltage is wrong and the lord and master has been too busy to fix it (building a hundred foot long garden wall and new patio before we go away in less than a month) so there it sits lonely and unloved in it's box bit like me really sigh ....... glad all is well with you
Gynger always could pack 'em in.
So to speak.
Honey, Gynger redefines everthing. You just gave 'em' a whole new meaning.
I'm grillin' chicken tonight (lots of it), with BBQ sauce on some, toasted sesame seed Teriyaki sauce on some, hoisin sauce with scallion and ginger on some, and some with just a light dusting of Bell's Poultry seasoning and olive oil.
Cut fruit soaked in sangria, Thai peanut butter noodles (see Vicki's Noodles and add bruised fresh basil leaves), and a cold asparagus salad
(anyone miss me NOW?)

Want a lap dance?
Absolutely, so long as you tip well.Oh yeah!!
It's okay if I laugh right?
Absolutely, so long as you tip well.
Not to cause a divergence from the humor, but has anyone ever entered a chapbook competition? Care to share?
I'm setting some goals and am considering including that on the list.

I'm just warning you that 20% of what I'm shaking is a big number.I worked in a job for seven years in which I depended on tips. I am the best tipper ever.
I usually calculate 20% and then add some just because. You have to earn the just because though so you better shake it.
You both are making me hungry and strangely, wanting to jerk off wrapped in velvet.

DJ, cue up the music.Yeah but in this case, 20% of what? Perhaps it should be 20% of our theoretical drink tab. That oughta come to about...
*does some figgerin'*
...dear god. A 375 dollar tip?
Meh, he's worth it.
*ponies up her share of the tip*
Well! I'll keep that in mind. I'm a mind to do a lot of the work myself--I can hang cabinets, lay wood floors, do some plumbing, but I can't design my way out of a paper bag, and I won't touch electrical wires (unless they're connected to one of UYS's toys).
Waves back and kind of winks--you know, the kind that says "C'mere you sexy thing..."

UYS, stop in any pharma store and buy a voltage converter. I bought one off a peg hook at Heathrow, but you don't have to go all the way there. They're about seven pounds. Save your life! And maybe your marriage (but I hope it doesn't need saving)
*shakes brain a la etch a sketch to erase mental picture of gynger in a tutu*
How totally unfair that female ballerinas have to perform in pointe shoes and guys are in flats.
I say Gynger dances en pointe.
I think I remember her from The Birdcage. She was dancing with Gene Hackman.
Pauvre, Gene.
I hear he never recovered.
