I actually got work done today. I wrote an article. I updated my poetry contest blog. And, I started the PowerPoint presentation for my team's final project for my cognitive psych class.

He's got high blood pressure it's twice what it should be and it's pushed the retinas out. I've had a blind Staffiebefore called Bugsy who had Hereditary cataracts but he went blind from 18 months and coped really well he used to run free and swim in the river and if I saw he was on a collision course I used to yell "Tree!" and he would swerve! But this one (Biffo) is old now and I don't know how he will cope I had my suspicions but thought it was only one eye affected but it is both. He is the last of my breeding line that I own and I literally pulled him into the world backwards and saved his life as he was stuck

Logical Aquarian, here. If you "had your suspicions," but didn't know 'til the diagnosis, he must be doing O.K.

That poem hurt, and as a true lover of animals my heart goes out to you. That said, I suspect that he'll do pretty well.

We had a rule, in our household, in about 1992, that whenever this came on, everyone had to drop what they were doing and come down and jig. To this day, I can do a very impressive Jig, although not for quite as long as I could then.

it's nice in a darkened bistro. Gives one time to think.

Hi all, anyone miss me? It's me, Lucky Sherwood (and I swear I didn't make that name up or hear it in a gangster movie.
Geez, this moving shit is wearing. The house needs soooo much work, and I've got only two hands while AA goes to work. And here's the kicker...I'm going to work at a workplace, not out of my house...got a job coordinating and teaching a very cool program at the local hospital (a huge place employing more than 7000 people.

I plan to catch up on all the stuff I missed, and comment soon, but I think I'll be back more often now. I need a new kitchen. WAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! This one sucks. But the produce here in farm country is incredible. And the peaches have come in.

That's great news!

I'm glad things are going well. I'm getting ready to do some remodeling on my house. While I'm not looking forward to all the work that needs done, I am definitely looking forward to the finished product! I'm getting a new kitchen which is long, LONG overdue! Yea!!!

My contractor starts when I get back from my vacation in August. He's great. He does work cheap for me, because when I was a Realtor, I sent a lot of work his way.

I did get my new toy thankyou lot of good it's done me though the voltage is wrong and the lord and master has been too busy to fix it (building a hundred foot long garden wall and new patio before we go away in less than a month) so there it sits lonely and unloved in it's box bit like me really sigh ....... glad all is well with you

Well, I didn't win that poetry contest that I had entered. That's not the only reason that I'm disappointed. Every poem that won or received honorable mentions were free verse. free verse. sigh.

I'm not anti-free verse by any means. One of the poems that I entered was free verse. When I was looking at the winning poems, I was really looking forward to reading some good form poetry. sigh.
