Such things would be evidence of rape and lack of such things would be evidence there was no force used. Tyson had no authority of jurisdiction over the young woman involved. She was in his hotel room late at night by choice. In itself, that doesn't prove anything, but it could result in doubt that rape happened.

The Tyson case happened when I was something like seven. You know who Mike Tyson is to me? The guy from the video game who has the funny tattoo now and his own cartoon.

I actually kinda think he's cool.

You have set the standard that a woman definitely knows when she's been raped and there will be physical evidence. In a society run by men who think like you it could very well take Scar Jo years to figure out that it's not consensual and in addition the physical evidence in such a case is going to probably be at best inconclusive even if she does realize it right out the gate.

I'm not cool with names being leaked and freedom of the press be damned I'd be happy if there were fines and even prison time for that shit. I'm not cool with false accusations though by every account false accusations are somewhere between 2% and 8% depending on what sources to use and who you care to trust. Nobody seems to dispute the huge percent that go unreported for various reasons.

That's no reason not to treat this like nearly every other crime in the world. The cops err on the side of the victim and the courts (in theory) err on the side of the defendant. (They don't, there is enough evidence that Judges err on the side of the prosecution since they are elected officials in many places and want to appear tough on crime. The same goes with the DAs and a bunch of other stuff in the legal system.)
