Boobs and Books

I'm tag teaming a couple books. Re-reading "The Illiad" and also making my way through the collected letters of C.S. Lewis.

After multiple recommendations for this… I’m finally reading it.

There was a part that was INCREDIBLY insightful… a young boy who is self proclaimed nerd.. used photos of his better looking cousin to create a profile online. He posted things that he was interested in.. things he normally got made fun of for talking about. But as his more good looking self.. these thoughts were now cool. He said, “online I could be the brain without the body”

And wow… just wow. I wonder if that’s why I’ve gravitated towards online relationships all my life.

I'm currently reading this and it's tough going. It's written so beautifully that I need to read it in bits, otherwise I get over-emotional.

Death on the Nile is great fun. And the exploration of what one might do for love is really cool. I thought the movie was pretty good too.

I’m on:
- The Man in the High Castle (no cleavage, but it is by Philip K Dick)
- Perfidia (James Elroy)

But I read on my iPad, so I tend to get waylaid having a quick browse on lot when I should be reading

I have not. Do you have any recommendations?
You can't go wrong with "The Big Sleep", however it's been the basis for several movies - not always by that name or crediting Chandler, so if you watch classic crime movies it could feel familiar. After that, "The Long Goodbye, The High Window" and "Farewell My Lovely" are very good. As is the anthology "Trouble Is My Business", it's a long story anthology, which is odd in itself. Think a collection of novellas.
