Here’s mine!
My goal was 60 books and it’s looking like I’ll finish out the year with 65!

That’s awesome!!!

How did you like It Ends with Us? Are you gonna watch the movie?
The book was good! Nothing amazing but I definitely enjoyed it. The sequel was just okay, IMO.
The movie… it was okay. I don’t like Blake Lively to begin with, and I also think she was the wrong choice for the character. And I didn’t think she had good chemistry with the male lead. But if someone likes her and also hasn’t read the book, i bet the movie is a lot better.

I have yet to see the movie … I’m not a huge Blake lively fan either.

I didn’t read the sequel …. Is the movie just book 1?

I’m wondering if it’s weird that I don’t have annual book goals or track what I read? 🤔
Not at all …. Just reading for enjoyment.

I have a goal but it’s totally arbitrary… and I also track my books simply because I can’t remember sometimes which books I’ve read or not.

I just finished Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon. This was such a good book and I'm planning to read more by this author. She writes a beautiful story, and as a former birth worker, her description of midwifery is refreshing, accurate, and raw. This is a historical fiction about the midwife Martha Ballard who delivered over 1000 babies and never lost a mother in her care. The story follows her life and a murder that takes place. It'll make you smile, laugh, scream and cry.
