*sulks* I'm the only one who's all excited about page 144. Fine then. Be mathematically disinclined.

In other news, I'm making cookies, so I'm not going to be on my computer the entire time, just every ten minutes or so, when i'm able to take a break. But I'll still reply and all. :rose:
Sorry hon, I guess I just didn't get it... Mathematically challenged here...

You can't just say "I'm making cookies" and not say what kind of cookies you're making. That's just cruel.

BTW, I've got plans to make some cookies whose recipe was handed down from my grandmother, to my mom, to me. They're called mondel brot (sp?) or almond bread, but there's nothing bread-like about them. They're baked in long logs, then cut and toasted. The cookie is not too sweet, firm yet crumbly, and very nutty. I have friends that beg me, from time to time, to make them. Now that I have a stand mixer, the process is much easier.

as for the celebration of page 144, I'm not sure I understand the significance? Please do explain and, once I understand, I'm sure I'll be able to provide you with the appropriate level of hooplah.

jen your poem is wonderful and with you as a back drop well it speaks volumes...
thank you for sharing

12²  I think it's a pretty number. I love squares and cubes and all. When me and my dad went sailing in Turkey over the summer, I'd refer to the boats exclusively by sums of squares and cubes. There was 12²+2², and then we had 11²+1².. and so many others. All of them could be expressed as the sum of two squares or cubes, interestingly enough. It drove people crazy :D

Oh my Grandma makes those... or used to, she can't manage to bake anymore since she went to the hospital. I'm just making some simple black & white cookies... I'll take pictures, k?

I've been way excited to bake again since I finally gor a scale for christmas... all this shit with cups drove me crazy, especially since one is a weight and the other a volume measure, and that makes converting kinda difficult, all the way up to impossible.

I did know it was a square. Math and I mix as well as oil and water. Sorry.

Most people, while realizing this, do think my excitement about it is rather stupid. I just like the number  Is it weird, as a mathematician, to have a preference for certain numbers?

You do realize that I'm a teacher in this community, right?

Well now that I think about it, to S the fluttering of the eyelashes pretty much means "I want this badly enough to give you a really nice BJ when we're back home" :catroar:
Yes I know you're a teacher ;) And quite a naughty one as well ... good thing the other teaches don't know that ;)

And I'm sure that S getts pretty much what he wants from you :D

You've lost me on the number 144, which is why I didn't catch it.

The only numbers I pay attention to are 42 and 47!

No it's not. I can appreciate your love of numbers. I am a 'motorhead' if it has an engine I love it. If I can make it go faster I love it more ;) So even little things related to that make me smile.. So numbers are your thing, engines mine :D

True. But we do have a small amount of regular sex, and if I'm cranky or feeling sick, I don't always want to play. There's still enjoyment for the both of us in a tender, freely given blow job.

42, naturally. That one is important. 47, I'm not quite sure about. What is its significance?

Yeah, you got something there that I just can't figure out  When I went to buy a car, I had to take someone knowledgeable with me, because all I managed to say was: "Oooh, pretty color!"

Tender sex is great as well. I love that too.

Especially with lots of whispered loving words and sweet kisses... *sighs*

I miss S *pouts* He needs to come home soon.

The number 47 is quite often used in Star Trek, and me being a Star Trek fan, I pay attention to it ;) you can read more about it here.

Hey now, I'm trying to bake here too... and I'm typing with one hand. You're sure not getting any cookies now. :p

Ah, thanks for the explanation. :rose: I'm probably not enough into Star Trek to have caught that. That's quite interesting. :)

No. Not at all weird. I am rather fond of Planck's Constant, for example.

The main thing I get from this most recent revelation by you is that you're really way smarter than most of us here. I suspect that we've not been challenging you at all so, to remedy that, here's a puzzle:

Dare I ask what you are doing with the other hand?
