I'm back. Did you miss me? Nah, didn't think so.

I had a great weekend with the fam and of course my darling 7 month preggers daughter was here (only 2 short days ) but I cherished that time.

We had 36 people show up for the baby shower (only SOME of the aunts, cousins, uncles, etc were able to make it). The women did baby shower things and the men drank beer and watched football.

It was fun and I was very sorry to see my daughter get on the plane and head back to Kansas. We'll be out there for 2 weeks at Christmas time to see my new grand baby. no wisecracks about me being a grandpa - unless you say SEXY grandpa

Thanks, no problem. Sometimes it's the bumps in the road that help us appreciate the nicely paved open road when we get there.

I'm with you on the Chargers (who would of thunk it, 4 -0), but I don't care for Seattle or the Steelers. As a big sports fan, with football being my favorite, this is a great time of year.

The only drug I got was whatever they inject into your spinal cord for that saddle block! (I was only 16 and they thought I could handle 25 hours of gut wrenching pain!) Now that I think about it, they may have done that to me because I cursed the nurse (nun) that told me I didn't need to carry on like that... I spit back at her asking her if she'd ever had a kid before, she said no, naturally. So I told her that until she could speak from experience, to shut the hell up! I never saw another nun my entire stay at St. John's Hospital!

I was a fiesty 'lil shit even back then! And I wonder sometimes where my daughter gets it! *lol* She'll be 27 on the 11th.
