Good morning EJ, Cherrie, AC, GEG, Missy, Ukin, Lance, Kewltoy, and the rest of the Cali crew. The above posts suggest that today has been dubbed Wicked Wednesday, and Ukin has gotten us off (no pun intended) to an early start.

Having said that, I must inquire as to the technology y'all are using to post pictures. Specifically, my two questions are: 1) are you using real digital cameras, or the little web cam type thing-dingies; and 2) if you're happy with your equipment (again, no pun intended), what make and model. I might add that I'm not a tech wiz, so simplicity of use would also be an important consideration for me. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

How shall I be wicked today?

I need to think about that and see what I can cum up with.

PS Sorry Orwell, almost forgot you there while I was ah.... 'thinking'. I have the world's crappiest digicam. Cost 50 bucks online. The flash always goes off. There is no timer unless it is hooked into the computer. When hooked into the computer it takes about 4 pics and the battery is dead. So my advice is to spend some bucks and get a good cam.

Orwell..mine is a webcam, an IBM but I do have a digicam too..but the webcam seems to suffice quite well. I do feel that the more expensive ones..say $90 are the better ones for both stil and normal webcam shots..mine also does video's hahaha

Damn...I seem to have missed a pic of EJ yesterday..... Ah well, I got to see a pic of Cherrie (albiet it was mostly her tongue... ), so I guess it all evens out. In a weird way. I'm making no sense...I need a nap.

World Series tickets shouldn't be a problem - although getting them now would take paying various body parts for them. It's one of the things that irks me about concert and sporting events tickets - or at least the resale of them. Buy a ticket for thirty bucks, sell it for $250. I'm all for free enterprise, but come on.....

Now..being English and a kind of a supporter of the Giants...but what I fail to understand..or comprehend..why is it called the WORLD Series..when ONLY America plays in that particular league?

Shouldn't it be called The American Championships?

Anyone know the answer?

Perhpas becuase in no other country is it as big of a sport. I know that Cuba is a big baseball place, but they have no where near the number that we do. Also, i know that it is not just America as there are a few(not many but few) Canadian teams in the league as well.

Perhaps cause there's canada and so many international players.... Wait... no... can't be do to the international players because there was a world series before "blacks" and non-white people were allowed to play.
