I enjoyed my time in San Diego, but I was on a business trip. I managed to go out a few times, but the city was new to me, still is, and I did not know of the places to go (let's say I was not on the cusp of the possibilities then). There were a few places that looked appealing, but maybe I should make new friends to be entertained by for potential visits. There is something about being in a strange place, and exploring things, while finding simple pleasures of dinner or catching a wave of parties spilling out of a bar to crooked connections in an alley around the corner of another bar.

Hmmm... I know of several such places!
