Let me expand on that.

With the collapse of Communism and the notion of the bouguasie vs. the proletariat went with it. That class warfare model was based on the Industrial Age model of economics. Obviously the philosophers, primarily French, had to come up with a new model to keep the notion of communism alive.

The new model was the notion of the oppressors vs. the oppressed. The oppressed being defined as any identifiable minority (how they worked women in there is anyone's guess?) and the oppressors being defined as white males. They ran into a little problem there in that white males are most definitely a minority world wide. Actually there was more than one problem there in that if you start breaking minorities down to a fine enough granularity you end up with the individual (of course Western philosophy has known that for centuries).

The solution was the newly found notion of "white privilege." Of course they have yet to adequately explain from whence this "white privilege" comes. Is it genetic in nature or, if your mind works in such a manner, is it God given? Is it like property passed on from father to son? Do white women have "white privilege? If not, why not? Where does this "privilege" come from, how is it bestowed? It's one of the great unsolved mysteries.

In any event their philosophy dives ever deeper into the cesspool of bullshit.

It's called "Identity Politics" and it's the only way the Communist/Socialist can look at the world.
