On the real issue… nearly 100 years of neighborly trade generosity by Canada… Canada can shift its preferred North-South trade routes East-West.

Europe, China, India… Canada also has alternatives, including a recent Free Trade Agreement with Europe.

Oh, the issue wasn't whether you could or not, as always it's about the price. The US is able to pay a higher price based on transportation to refinery costs and the fact that our refineries are already configured to deal with Albertan Sludge.
