Americans should visit Canada. It’s a beautiful country and their economy needs our help. The Canadian economy is smaller today than it was in 2019 and is essentially in the same place it was a decade ago. Per capita productivity is now $20,000 below the US and wages are 8% lower. Go up there, enjoy the scenery and spend money.

British Columbia is, IMO, top of the list of beautiful spots to go visit in Canada. Definitely check out Vancouver Island, that's my planned retirement place.

When you remove Energy from the equation, the US exports more to Canada, than Canada exports to the US. So we have put Tariffs on more American goods, than you have on ours. That's your first lesson on how this little war will go.

Second 60% of your gasoline is refined from Canadian oil, tariff's or not, the US demand for our oil will not drop. The exporter doesn't pay the tariff, the import does, which in this case is the US. Thank Trump when you fill up next week and cost has risen.
