Carson is done.

I'm thinking that God told him to run, and God never told him to stop running until today.

You're citing a 4 March announcement to respond to a 1 February challenge? Seriously? And you don't feel like an idiot? Seriously?

Oh - that was a challenge? lol

You might learn to use a calendar--and common sense. And a dictionary--a challenge to cite is asking for an already existing source, not one that will pop up five weeks later.

So, I guess you aren't feeling like an idiot. You really should be, you know. ;)

You asked me to cite evidence for something I never claimed. When a boxer is "finished", the 10-count doesn't have to be done. If he's got two broken arms, just barely standing, unable to punch, and his opponent is ahead on points, he's finished.

Pitiful posts. OK, you're not worth the effort.

And it need not go as far as your example.

Citation of his withdrawal?

He's headed home to Florida. Gonna take time off. Not hitting any other states. May go to National Prayer Breakfast.

Candidates continuing their runs don't do that.

Didn't see a citation of anything there. I've googled but haven't come up with a withdrawal statement yet. Candidates are doing a lot of zany things now--and getting away with them.

I didn't say he withdrew. I didn't say it was official.

I said he's done.

And I'm right. :)
It looks to me like RoryN declined the challenge then, and let you have the round. The recent news sent him looking for a thread to post it in, and responding to your post was a cute way to do it. I doubt that he thought he was re-opening the challenge he declined, thinking he would win this time.

I'm betting money Carson will be the Veep choice.

Risky, sure, but Trump HAS to have "diversity" on the ticket. Its the only way to take the BS KKK, Nazi crap off the table.

Plus, Carson is well liked and personally popular. Also will reassure evangelicals of Trump's "conservatism" on social issues.

I heard an interview with Carson a couple days ago and it sure sounded like he was already supporting Trump.

I bet a deal's already been done.

The liberals will try to "Palin" him, but the difference is that we all know who he is already. They can't define him the way they did Palin who was basically unknown on the national stage.

Although its not like its ground breaking to have a black VP candidate after we've had a mulatto President, but Carson can reach out to black faith communities and maybe peel off a few percentage points from Hillary among that group.

Plus you put the Dems in the position of having to vilify a black man while still trying to claim that Trump is "racist." They will try of course, but it will be much less successful.
