Well I was just going to post straight into combat since Naden is the furthest down the road, but if you insist....
By the way, if anyone has the ability to reach the orcs and trolls before me feel free to do so, if not I'll score the charge and start splitting heads (and naturally take a hit or two as well). ^_^

Well, Leo, while I applaud the fact that your character stabbed the troll in the chest, these trolls aren't that easy to kill. They regenerate. The only way to permanently disable one is to cauterize the wound with fire. You'll all see this IC in just a moment.
Fair enough. But as you said earlier: these are only trolls and orcs. I can have the dumb thing stand back up and hit me over the head or something. You should've warned me that they can regenerate.
And on a side note: Skin can only get to be so hard. It's not like dragon scales, which I'm fairly sure a scythe couldn't pierce.

I agree. The scythe would easily pierce their skin. I'm not going to have the troll hit you, because there is a reason I didn't tell you. I wanted it to be a bit of a surprise. I can't tell you everything that's going to happen.

I forgot to take into account how old your character is, and the fact that he's undoubtedly been around the world. Apologies about the scythe thing, will edit that in. I didn't see it mentioned in your previous post when you saw the enemies so do you always have it drawn?
Regardless, Naden turned around just as you had reappeared and Arisu went for her hammer, then rode off so he wasn't watching when you started your charge (though he will see you appear in front of the enemies).

I believe there is still a space open, but as I'm not a creator I can't say really. It seems like our group is quite large so a bad guy would be an interesting change

Just so you all know I fried the regenerating troll not the one Ancalimon chars fighting.
Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean? There are only two trolls. Leo stabbed one in the chest, then turned towards the other one. The one he stabbed regenerated, and that's when my character got it's attention. So, either you fried the one Leo was facing, or you fried the one coming up towards Namennarg.

And yes, Leo has lived over four hundred years so he has been around the world. I also said that he had faced a troll before, so he would know that they regenerate, so keeping it a secret was a bad idea. It's not a major problem, as long as you don't get snarky about it. I can just include it with my next post.

I'm sorry. Sarcasm is just how I am. I don't mean to be mean. Most of what I say isn't meant to offend, just as one large joke. I'll remember to mention any other things that are odd about enemies we will be fighting. I can't think of anything right now, but when I do, I'll be sure to let all of you know.
On a happier note, the fight should be over soon, and more of the story will hopefully be revealed. Depends on if that orc I knocked out is still alive, and if he's willing to talk. I'll leave the interrogation methods up to you all. My character actually doesn't have the stomach for torture.

I like you, man. I think your a good guy, really, and I would hate for us to turn out to be enemies. Maybe I'm taking it a little too seriously. I've been known to do that.

Hold on, let me see. He actually wasn't ever approved, which is annoying, but I did say I'd always be accepting new characters.

Sorry, I totally forgot my bio... and btw this other guy who joined isnt that good at writing, but he likes this kinda stuff so don't ride him too much about it.
Serapis was made illegally. That is to say, his father broke the one rule of being a pheonix. NEVER burn a human to death. Reason being, the ashes from the pheonix flames produce something as they should, and it almost looks human. But not quite, and it is far superior to both races in time. However his gifts are also a curse. For one, he has to live forever. When he is slain, within a day or two his body will burn itself and be whole again from the ashes. But unlike a pheonix, he doesnt start over. He is the same age, same knowledge, but slightly higher power. For two, he was even more of an outcast because his father ditched him. For three, his own power can kill him, but of course, not permenantly, and very painful. If he were to get the smallest spark on his chest, he would burn up. So he spends his life eternally attempting to kill this bird, and he will do whatever it takes to do it. Oh, and his father is the strongest pheonix so far. He spent about 37 yrs. gathering up the hearts of other pheonixes to amplify his power, but he still is nowhere near. Last time he encountered his father, He walked away very injured on one arm and severely burnt, Which is incredibly rare considering his armor. So far he needs a boat because his father flew over the ocean.(fathers name is Ruk' Shae The Suncaller).
