I am SO SORRY, you guys! I'm having so many problems with work and my son's schooling and trying to get sleep and costumes done and go to conventions... Gah.

Okay... so I will sit down, go back through the list here, make a schedule and post it and then we can start writing. I have to change my original idea because the story I was going to do was picked up by Dark Moon as definate... so I am going with a young Mage, methinks. Yay for recurring characters!

So I will sit down and whittle out Maki's story. When you guys get your first chapters done, let me know. I am plugging away, I swear!

I have the preliminary story written. Now I just have to flesh out the world a bit more. My character and dialogue is good. My plot is decent.

My setting? SUCKS BALLS. *is using this as a chance to stretch her writing muscles and wants to do it right*

If you read the second post, each of us has two weeks from the time the person ahead of them on the schedule posts to post their chapter of the story as per the guidelines set forth by LIterotica for chain stories. When your chapter has been posted, you should post a message here letting us know and tag the next person on the schedule. The schedule is also posted in red in the second post in the thread.

I like to keep everything neat and tidy and where we need it. *grins*

Yea, you can submit them in less than two weeks. It's just you have to submit it within two weeks. In other words, post as soon as you have it finished and nudge the next person because we should keep the thing moving.

However, if you NEED to take a couple weeks between chapters (Like I might need to depending on everything for the second round and what everyone else's stories look like), it's more than acceptable. I just wanted to give everyone a good chance. I refuse to sit down and bang out crap just because I have a deadline to meet. I would rather have something I am happy with.

Then again, I am sure all of you are the same.

The entire month of May, pretty much. We went to Rhodes too, actually. It was a class, so we didn't have much free time. I had a ton of fun though.

So... I don't even know when I'll be writing my first chapter, you guys. I am confused. Also, weren't we going to name out first chapters Deus Ex Maxchina: Vincenza (or whatever the character's name is) and then give the subsequent chapters more descriptive, random names? I did like that idea a lot. If we dropped that and I missed it, nevermind.

I numbered and put the character's name unless the silly old thing didn't work when I posted it for them to change it upon submission. *laughs* Yay for things not going as right as I'd thought.
