"But I am warning you.. if you tell anyone who sees us I'm your sister's Kid, I am going to scream.." i grinned, letting him know I was teasing and jumped down from the seat.
"Would you like to read some of the books I have? I am trying to understand how to channel my powers into what I want to happen instead of cat..catas... a big mess!" I sighed, I hated that word!
"I should warn you Rock, I am not a nice person, I can be mean.." I said quietly, recalling what happened to the ice cream man. Recalling how terrified of me Lissa is. I looked up at him, a little hurt showing in my eyes, not understanding how to control it well enough not to hurt people, or not controlling myself so I dont get angry.

You do not have to worry about me, Like I said, I can't die, plus being a Kitsune does have its advantages!" He said with a light chuckle, at the moment, he was wondering if the word she ment was catastrophic

"Does it take much mental abiliaty to to hone your skills?"

"Yes." I nodded my head looking intently into his eyes, as if trying to see his soul and read his mind.
"It takes control and mental control as well.. It is a worry that one as young as I am posesses such a gift or such a curse. It is a responcibility that is a hard one to carry. Harder than turning down cookies even.." I looked so seriously it was hard for any one to chuckle at the comment, but it was infact something cataclismic.

"Well Eden, I know alot of mentle training techneiqes, so,me tha arn't even used any more, I may be able to help you if you want."

I smiled and nodded my head affirmative.
"Yes I would like that, perhaps we can try these new technics soon?" Lissa came in then and informed me it was time for dinner. Unaware I had been talking to Rock for so long, I invited him along and made my way to the dining room.
"Come, sit, eat and enjoy!" I smiled and crawled into a seat, placed my napkin in my lap and waited to see what had been prepared for us.

Kyo sat down and, for the rest of the time, he ate in silence

We ate in silence, some small chatter now and then but not much was said. It was growing late and I was getting tired. I asked Lissa to provide a bedroom near my own for Rock to stay in and thanked her quietly.
I thought over what I would have to learn in order to control this curse inside me, and wondered if it was possible for me to control it as well? I glanced up at Rock and stared at him, I knew he knew I was staring and did not care one twit. He was rather interesting to look at, much different than anyone else I had seen before.
"Are you alive? And if so were you or are you Human?" I grinned, I knew adults hated nosey children but I did want to know about him and those out there in this world I had yet to meet.

"In a way, I am alive, and at the same time dead, but to be exact, alive."

He turned to a window "Before I tell you if I'm human or not.... Do you know what a Kitsune is?"

"Yes, tell me!" I clapped my hands and smiled brightly, Waiting for the new tale to be told..

"A kitsune.... Are considered Japanese demons. They burned down houses, destroyed cities... But the worst they could do was, take over a humans body just by giving them a cold stare. It shocking really, seeing wat the kitsunes are, the name Kitsune translated in english is called fire fox. They are foxes!"

Rock gave an small laugh, seeing how so ridiculas it seemed at the moment. "They are considered to be tiny little hunters from the K-9 species."

Rock's laugh stoped but his smile remained "Yet at the same time, foxes are cunning and tricky. they hunt like assasins, thy care for they're young like us humans in a way... they can escape from quiyotys so easily, they can grab a rabbit faster than any dog can, although I can not same the same for wolfs, they're just as good at huntin as a fox."

H turned to see Eden with a slightly confused look "Thats what I am, a fire fox, or a were fox in english terms, but its no surprize there are were cheetas were jaguires, and others."

I giggled a moment, trying to picture this in my head.
"So.. you are sayin' thatcha turn into this tiny little cute furry fox thing and... start fires?" I giggled again, "How does a man your size get to be tiny?" Again I was curious about this..
"Can you show me? Pleeeeeeeeeease?" I gave him an angelic smile and waited, hoping.

Rock did every thin in his power not to breakout laughing "I'm not little when I change! I wll give you a mall sample if you wan't..."

I grinned like a cheshire cat and nodded enthusiasticly..
"YES! yes yes yes! Pleassse?" I watched wide eyed, expecting any second he would turn into this cute little cuddly fox..
Well heck.. A five year old has her own opinions on things, even if they are waaaaaay off the mark...
I giggled, wondering if he was as amused as I was for the moment? I turned my head from him for a moment, my eyes catching something in the window.. A red set of eyes quickly vanished into the darkness and I paused a moment, wondering what that was? Shrugging I turned back to Rock, "I'm ready to see now.."

"Ok... don't say I didn't warn ya!" Rock closed his eyes, seemingly calm as any body could be. All of a sudden he started to grown as his ears began to gain fur, and started to point out, an tail riped through his pants and he grited his teeth, that now were sharp as an knife. When he opened his eyes, they were as yellow as an yeild sign.

I leaned forward watching wide eyed until he was done.
"Awwwwwww.... You arent teenie and stuff.." I pouted a moment then a twinkle lit my eye, "You are still a cute fox though! Now you aren't going to burn down the house are you?" I asked in a small serious voice.
"I think we should watch a movie before bed time and you can show me more of these interesting things.... And perhaps why you wish to be cured when you aren't really that cursed.. Is there level's of cursedness?"

"Well..."Rock looked up slighly, "I'm not exactly sure about the level of a curse... I think it depends on the person or thing that curse you. And being a Kitsune is NO walk in the park" He calmly said as he returned back to normal

"They can Bezerk at times and kill people for no aparent reason. Plus, it is said that the fox that invaded you soul will eventualy take over... And living forever..." His face saddened, "Lets just say that you never want to live forever, its great at first... but then, you become an outcast."

Almost instantly, his face lightened up "Hey, tommorow, I'll show you something of the Kitsune power that I don't often do, You might like it!"

"Well now!" Rock held out a kind hand "Shall we watch some movies?"

I smiled and nodded my head enthusiasticly, "I would love to see something new!" I took his hand and jumped down from my seat, tugging him along with me. For the first time in a long time someone was not afraid of me or too busy to give me some attention. I soaked it up like a sponge as most kids do and smiled brightly. I led him into the living room and sat down, picking up the remote and hitting the buttons. The shades closed, the panel lifted and a wide screen tv sat waiting.
"What would you like to watch?" I asked curiously. "I dont like cartoons.." I warned.

"Oh darn! An I alway liked anime!" Rocked joked "Well lets see... How about... Resident Evil?"

In the daytime, Depp watched out of a pair of dark sunglasses the motions of the day. In this particular part of the city, people thrived, dozens of them passing each other, on their way to or from work, or going to eat. This business district seemed to capture the heart of the city, and he absolutely hated it.
The stench of humanity, as it walked by, smoking cigarettes and talking on cellphones.
They would be his cattle some day.
He sipped as his coffee, already cooling in the afternoon sun. Beads of sweat trailing down from his forehead, unable to do much about the horrid conditions, simply living through them.
Dark would come soon.
Night beckoning upon them.
The museum, the largest museum in the city stood on the other side of the street. Depp and one other sat at a little bistro, admiring it, glancing at it from time to time. He saw the tall gray pillars, holding up a false ceiling that displayed a clock, as well as the name of the museum.
Not that he cared at all.
The necklace didn't even take in his notice, although the history of it did fascinate him. In truth, he only wanted the girl.
Wasn't it always about a girl?
A cloaked man exited the museum, and made a careful path over to where they were, sitting down.
"The east wing," he said, "Its on display, no big security over there. Mostly just cameras and movement sensors. The art paintings and precious gems are most heavilly guarded. I think abiding a few sensors, we won't be noticed at all."
Depp nodded, only half listening.
"Good, tonight then. Out of this peckish sun, and into our own domain. Go back to the house, and get the others prepared. As soon as we know where she is, I want to move as quick as possible."
The man nodded, and walked off.
Depp finished his coffee.

Sometime durring the movie I fell into a deep sleep and lay there until I was awoken at ten a.m. by Lissa.
"Your bath is ready Miss." I yawned and stretched, nodding and following her towards the bathroom. I had no idea where Rock had gone off to, perhaps sleeping in another room?
I took my bath, dressed and sat down at the table, trying to pry open my eyes and eat something solid.. I wasn't a morning person, definately not..

Rock sat on a tree, slightly dozed off, morning suns rizes always seem to have that efect on him, yet the only thing that kept him awake was a scent of an rabbit, looking for a place to hide, cause it had the scent of a hungry fox invading its nose, "Yu're a lucky bunny today pal I don't feel like eating!"

I sat in the living room.... bored..

I moved to the den and sat there........ really boring..

I even attempted to play with the doll heads in my bedroom..... Very very dull!

I sat and stared at the clock for awhile...... booooooooring....

OK! Dammit! Why did adults find being home so much fun!? I was bored to tears by now and ready to scream..

Lissa came in and smiled, knowing that I was going nuts inside the tome like house.

"Want to go to the Zoo perhaps?" She offered.

I grinned and nodded, "Please anything but sitting in this boring house!"

"Get your coat." I nodded and ran to do just that.

Why was Lissa having a change of heart all of the sudden? She was very much afraid of me before.. What changed her mind? I didn't care, I was leaving this house and going outside. I would be content with it, even if it was in her company..

I pulled on my coat and walked back downstairs, I caught Melody cleaning something and asked her to inform Rock I would be out and about.. and to entertain him while I was busy.. Again in the "i'm an adult now' voice.

Melody nodded, and went back to washing. I moved to the private garage and climbed into the black mercedes. We drove off, listening to the radio through traffic.. This would be entertaining for a few hours anyways...

Rock was infomed soon after he heard the car left, he didn't mind, it gave him time to train, the only problem was that he didn't have his sword, or his staff "I guess my fist will have to do..."

I let Lissa drag me around the Zoo like some pet or something until I could not take any more of this boredom!
"I want to go home..now" My eyes darkening to the point of nearly black in my annoyance.
Lissa paled, her head nodding quickly she understood. I knew she was just trying to help ease the boredom, but really!? A children's Zoo? Hell I didn't even witness mad lions eating someone! This was definately dull and boring.
We loaded up and headed home.

"*sigh...*" There is nothing else to do..." Rock said wih an long sigh, "except for to doze off...." Rock tried to shake it off, "I lept three times already! I can't go to slee...p...." but failed as the warm sun beaten hm down to exhastion, his right ear slumped as his head slightl nodded to the side causing a few strands of his hair fall on his face.
