Child of Eden

Rock gave an small growl as he walked down the halls,"Man, what a night..." Rock gave an small look at his hand, seeing that it was badly bruised "What did I do last night?"

'Hey Rock, whats up?'

Rock slowed down and taken a look at a teenage girl, not too much younger than him, maybe an year or two younger. At first, he would have gone nuts, seeing that she looked like Eden, but his nose said she was Eden "Hey Eden. What are you doing up this early?

Eden

Well he certainly wasn't surprised, that was good. I smiled and made a face, "Studying, what are you doing growling around the halls this early in the morning?"
I sat back, shutting the book for a moment and watching him closely.
"What did you do to your hand?" I remained seated since I wasn't properly dressed but sat forward to get a better look at it.
"Want me to take a look at that?" I offered, since I could manipulate cells I knew I could heal him as well.

"No thank you Eden, My hand feels fine, I'm just wonder how the heck it got swollen..."

Rock looked at the room, it was the first time he really looked at it "Geez, this room this is filled with books! DOn't tell me you have to read them all!"

Eden

I smiled a little and shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly.
"I've read three of these four walls since I was old enough to read, minus a few my Master told me i could not touch."
I closed my book a moment, Lissa entered carrying a few bags and set them down for me.
"Your new clothes Miss.."
"Thank you Lissa, could you ask mary when breakfast will be ready? I am starving."
Lissa nodded, exchanged a strange look with Rock before scurrying around the door once again.
I wondered what that was all about but said nothing.
"Don't you read Rock?" I fixed my gaze back onto his face and wondered what those two had been up to lately?

Rock gave Lissa a short look, then looked back at Eden, "Yah, I do read books, but I Read twice as much as this, being as old as I am. But at your age, this is insanely alot."

Eden

I grinned up at him and shook my head, "What should a child my age be doing then Rock?" I smiled, waiting for him to think of something interesting I could be doing right at this moment?
" I have to learn all I can, understand all I can by a certain time. One much use knowledge not ignorance.."
"Have a seat." I motioned him to sit and closed my book.

Rock slowly walked torwards an chair "When I was your age I learned the hard way that you can't learn every thingh from a book.... What am I saying?! You are my age! I mean, in form wise, I mean..... Oh forget it...

Eden

I chuckled and shook my head, "I know I can't learn everything from a book.. Why do you think I took Depp up on his offer? And besides by tomorrow I should pretty much be full grown, if I have the energy to continue. Being in this stage of young adulthood bites ass.." I grumbled, I hated hormonal things already and I hadn't even been in it a day!
"I will learn things as I go.. Unless you have something you think I should learn?" I cocked a brow at him and grinned, waiting to see what was on his mind?

'Full grown? By tommorow?! Yeash how kids can grow these days! I remeber in my day that people couldn't live longer than thirty, fourty at the most!' Rock thought silently.

Rock raised an eye brow, he had no idea what Eden ment by "Unless you have something you think I should learn?"

Eden

I laughed, he was a funny guy. Sitting back and wiping the tear from the corner of my eye I just shook my head.
"You said I can't learn everything from a book, so.. What is it I can't learn from a book?"

"Thats a mystery even I can't truely figure out..." Rock said scratching his left fox ear "A old wise man in my vilage once said 'there are things you can learn only from a srcoll, and some things you can only learn from experiance.' At first when I heard this saying, I thought he ment learning how to fight... But I guess it ment more... I wonder what?"

Rock gave an short sigh "Even I have things to learn at my age, I guess when I was cursed to live in forever, he also ment my attitude torwards things" Rock said in a small laugh, he could still age, as long as he doesn't get killed, he was glad about that.

Eden

I nodded my head in agreement, "Yes somethings takes experience to learn first hand what can happen or consequences of our actions."
I stood up and stretched, picking up the bags Lissa had brought in.
"Should go get some breakfast while it's hot. I will be in shortly." I eyed the things in the bag, hoping to god nothing pink was in there!

Rock gave an small smile as Eden left. He felt a bit tired, as he didn't get much sleep. 'Gee, Eden will be older than me soon! She is kinda cute at her age right now... What the Hell did I just think!?'

Rock quickly shook the feeling off "Come on rock... You are what? 500 hundred years old shes 16-17!" Rock shook his head in shame of himself.

Eden

Slipping on the hip huggin' sargo pants and sweater, I brushed out my hair and put it into a pony tail. Walking back into the dining room, I parked my butt and waited for some food.
"LISSA! Where's breakfast?" Dang she took her sweet time. Sighing, I started to think about Lissa and how she looked and sounded. My stomach churned a little as my fingertips tingled. Relaxing more, I began to 'hear' her speaking in the kitchen to Mary..

"......she's bellowing again, best get something out there before we're in trouble....." Lissa huffed out.
"Hush, she'll hear you and you'll get into a shit load of trouble.."
"Don't let her hear you swearing, she might rip your tongue off.."
"Why are you do damned bitter?" Mary asked seriously.
"That girl gives me the creeps sometimes.. Sweet one moment and satanic the next!" Lissa shivered a little, I could sense it as I moved around her aura.
"Well with the right people around her, she'll make a fine lady.. Just have to teach her the difference between use and love."
"She doesn't know what love is, only take and use.."
"Well you can feel that way Lissa, but you're wrong.. Go serve breakfast.."
I retreated a little, not wanting to hear anymore but in the mood to torment Lissa now. Then I paused, I couldn't do that to her, poor woman was going to shrivel up and die as it was... She needed laid. I chuckled at that and slumped my chair, my crude gaze fixed on her as she came in with the tray. Lissa wouldn't even look at me, just mumbled something and hurried to leave.
I caught her hand before she ran and smiled, "Thanks for the clothes and food." She looked at me, turned and did a double take before slowly walking off again.
chuckling silently I thought that would put her in her place for a moment, at least shock her shitless. I should fix her up with Depp.. Maybe he'd rip out. No wait! Make her a zombie or something, his little mind toy.. That was more amusing. Then I thought again about it and knew it would be wrong to wish that on her. She was loyal, sassy as well, but loyal. Or so I thought, but I could be wrong there.
"ROCK!! Get in here and eat before I get it all to myself!" I hollered out, I loved doing that. It really irritated Mary and Lissa to scream through the house. I grinned again.

"Yeow!" Eden's vocie rang through out Rock's ears, "Well thats Eden all right!"

Rock slowly entered the room "Eden, you have to remember, I have fox ears, that really hurts you know!" Rock said in a joking mood

Eden

"Ooops, sorry Rock. Want something to eat?" I watched as a few more platters were brought out and set on the table before me. Eggs, ham, bacon, toast.... All the essentials for a good breakfast!
"What are your plans today?" I served up some of everything and took a large glass of milk as well.
I had ideas on what I wanted to do today but so far, there were so many I had no idea where to start?

"Well... I have nothing to do today, so I was going to meditate today, you know, sharpen my mind" Rock said, he taken a small sip of orange juice amnd flinched "Whoa... what was that feeling through my veings?"

Eden

"What was what feeling?" I went back to my eggs, wondering what in the world he was talking about?
"I am planning on roaming around town today for a little while.. See what I can experience.." I laughed again and chewed thoughtfully.

"Hmmmm... I didn't even know there was anything to do in this city..." Rock said sarcasticly "But to tell the truth, I never really been around the city, the only time I been here was for food and supplys!"

Eden

"I see..." I didn't understand, but it was best just to drop the topic.
"If you will excuse me Rock, I have some more things to do until tonight. See ya at dinner alright?" I stood up and tossed down my napkin. Grabbing a glass of juice I headed out the door and turned back to Rock, "Dont have too much fun without me" I winked and left as quickly as I had come in.
Winding my way to my bedroom I had a sudden urge to nap, feeling drained mentally and physically at the same time. Perhaps I could restore some energy if I slept until dinner time? Studying did not fit into the nap thing, granted I was a little too old for naps as well.. It was just something that needed done.
I was amazed at how much I had eaten as well at breakfast. It must be the rapid growth thing I was messing with. I had best be careful on how much I do before there are serious complications with me. Human trappings, a living body that had needs to grow right and strong as well. I could have to go about this a little slower before I ended up with broken bones from walking or something.
I crawled into my bed, locking myself into my room and darkening everything. A little peace and quiet would do me some good. I fell asleep the instant I got comfortable.

Rock gave an confused look as eden left the room, it was odd for some body to be THAT hungry. even he had an slightly hard time to eat that much, maybe it was because she was growing way too fast.

Rock got up and left the room, "I'm going out for an hunt"

Lissa walked up behind him, "hunting? For humans and pleasure I bet..."

Rock gave an sharp look at Lissa "I don't hunt humans, and I don't hunt for pleasure, in fact I barely hunt to kill..." Rock angerly walked out of the room pissed off.

Eden

A week had passed us by...

locked withint he study, I worked day and night between sleeping and altering myself. I studied more and more, ate frequently and on the 6th day.. As the bible says.. She rested..

Exiting the Library, Lissa was there waiting for me to emerge. How she knew I was coming out I did not know. Was Rock still around? I had yet to cure him as promised. Depp did not visit and if he did I knew nothing of his presense.

Weary and tired I was shown to my room that morning. Showered by Lissa and tucked into bed. Her faint words promising to wake me at sunset for dinner, she quietly left my room.

I slept, dreaming of all the things I learned and yet needed to experience. The time was right, tonight would be my new venture. I was a butterfly now, no longer a worm waiting to blossom. I had seen to that.

I stood five, nine. Slim, older and mature in looks. I was full grown.. A woman in the most sense, but still not the same. I did not care for that part of life, I was content with just looking how I did.

I awoke with the setting of the sun and knew things were going to change.... Perhaps for the better, perhaps for the worst? I did not know, but I concentrated and summoned Depp to me.
Dressing in the provided clothing Lissa had around, I stepped down into the fouyer and into the dining room.

MAry and Lissa both stood wide eyed as they watched me, Mary crossing herself as if to ward of some evil. I smiled faintly and sat at the table in silence. My mind was too occupied with things to worry overly much about two old biddies..

"Rock still lingering around here some where?" My voice had a husky quality to it I did not notice until now. I had matured and felt the glee bubble up inside. I had more to explore now as an adult.. And freedom! Lord I had so much freedom now! I couldnt wait..

Rocked stayed in an hotel, it was ran down and moldy, but he agreed to fix it up and the rest of the hotel, if they let him stay. He had died twice in one week, one falling from an tree as he was waken up by Eden, although he wasn't mad at all. And the other time falling from his room, wich was two stories up.

He had left Edens house about three days ago, Lissa had gotten on his nervs, and he felt he out stayed his welcome. He didn't know if Eden knew he left, but he hoped she did.

He looked at himself in the mirror, he noticed he aged a bit, "Maybe the curse had lifted, no... Eden didn't do anything, I just hope nobody had came after while I left..."

Depp walked out of the shadows, his cloack fluttering around his legs, as he looked out at his caller.
"I was beginning to think you had forgotten about me."
His eyes rose with suspicion, and then mild curiousity. She had changed, and for the better. A full woman stood before him now, with all the right curves in all the right places. He had to eye her over twice before continuing on.
"I like it, very effeminine. You did a very good job. All equally too," he circled her, getting a better look," The problem with this kind of work, is sometimes you don't grow everything equally, and pain erupts from the discomfort."
He touched the small of her back," It starts here, the bottom of the spine, and moves up," his fingers trailing her back, gentle sway from the musk that arose from her.
"Very pretty," he said, turning to face her once more, "So, what do you have in mind for us tonight?"

Eden

I stood as he studied me, taking no offense in his words, for I would not let him rile me with his mocking.
I stiffened up a little and smiled a small smile of my own.
"A healing touch mends that which rapid growth changed.. I wish to learn more, experience more. Will you show me more Reality Depp?" I asked as he came to stand before me once again.
His touch was strange, but rather interesting. I hadn't been touched much as a child, most feared me.
"Do you fear me?" I asked straightforward as I stood in the dark corners of the dining room.
