Eden

My head was swimming a little as I watched him push another class of champagne towards me. I smiled and took the glass, bringing it to my lips I sipped as I watched him watching me.
Setting down the glass I turned it by the stem around and around. Unsure what I wanted to know next?
I could feel the temperature in the room warm up as I shifted on the seat. Curiously I glanced down at myself, my nipples were hard and brushing the material. Amused only slightly, I glanced back up at Depp.
"Well I think I've learned everything I can learn from here... Why not get a sample of some speed?" The idea of racing through town in a car or motorcycle sent an adreniline rush through me.
"Own anything fast Depp?" My fingertip dipped into the wine, brushing my wet finger across my lower lips, I lapped up the drop and repeated the same movement. I heard someone over Depp's shoulder make a noise and lifted my eyes. Another guy was staring, smirking a little I shook my head.
"Some people are easily toyed with.. Now what is there to experience? I want to experience as much as I can tonight!" I smiled brightly and sat forward in the chair.
"Come on, what sounds fun?"

Rock sat silently on an bench, "Wonder what I should do now? Maybe I should have gone with Jason, at least I could have gotten some drinks, loosen me up a bit."

Rock felt his hand heat up again, so he looked at it. It now showed an scar that he did not know how he gotten it. "This is odd. I feel an good sensation from it, but still..." He sat up slowly, and looked at it more intensly. An small smirk came across his face "I have seen so many things in my life, why does this surprize me? At the same time, I like it. Its something new and the feeling I never had felt before..."

He looked around, he was sitting near the same club Jason was at. "Nah, like I said so many times to myself, I can't dance."

"Speed? Hmmm, interesting. Perhaps another night. You've only had a glass and a half, but this is your first taste at alcohol, and I would hate for anything to happen to you."
He held her hand in his, walking outside into the cool night air once more. A lesson was in order, something to test her true power, not just the power of a woman. He decided against the limo, instead having them go for a little walk.
"I want you to do something for me," he said, a slight smile on his face, "Speed is all about strength, and I believe you had a lot of strength my young one. Fly, up, as high and as fast as you want. Show me you know how to control more things than just cells, you can move the very winds and transcend gravity's law."

Eden

I glanced quickly over to Depp.
"I can not fly!" I gasped out, "that's just crazy Depp." I laughed lightly and shook my head. 'And even if I could control the winds and such, I have never tried and have no idea how to do that neither!"
He gave me one of those 'indulging' looks again, the kind that just makes me want to kick him. I wasn't sure even how to go about moving the air?
"Well, Depp.... How in the world do I do that?"

Rock became tired of staring at the empty sky, he got up and brushed himself off. He thought of going back to his apartment room, but another idea came in his mind, "Maybe I should take another look at that shack I used to call home... He stared to walk away, but stoped when an familar scent came to his nose.

He slowly turn around to see Jason's little sister, "Why are you out here? shouldn't you be in the club?"

Eden

Depp said nothing, not a clue what to do here either. Sighing, I tried to think of how to stir up the wind and lift myself but the wine was going to my head. I could not seem to manage one coherant thought without giggling.
"Oh screw this! I am too tired tonight.." I grumbled under my breath a few things about wine and began marching back towards home. He could follow or he could just let me go, either way at this moment I did not care for anything but laying down. Kicking off the heels a half block later, I left them laying there. Damned things were nearly impossible to walk in! I made it to the end of the block and glanced up at the street sign. "Oh for hells sake!" I was a good five miles or more from home!

Rock looked at Silvia

"Just needed some air, thats all. Where are you going?"

"Just heading home." Silvia, just nodded, Rock knew right there she was extreamly shy, She also looked worst that just needing air. "You look dazed, mayby we should get you home."

"No, no I'm fine."

"Silvia! There you are!" Jason came up panting "I got worried when I didn't see you around."

Rock walked up to Jason's side and whispered something in his ear "She doesn't look too good Jay, you better take your sister home..."

Jason nodded, "Come on Silvia, this is the time the freaks come out at night" Rock elbowed him hard, just before he left.

"Man, I'm way too far away from home, or the apartments." Rock lifted his nose in the air, and taking an familar, yet somewhat changed sent. "Whos sent is that?" Rock looked around the streets to see, who it was. The only person he saw on the streets was an lovely woman in black that didn't have any shoes on.

Eden

Pausing at the corner, I watched for a taxi to come by, hopefully one would be open. Turning back I figured Depp was near by, "Depp?" Pausing I did not see him right away, but I did see Rock.
"Hey there Rock.. What are you doing out here tonight?" Smiling, I turned and walked over to where he stood. Giggling, it was cute how lost he looked.
"Don't tell me you don't know who I am!?" glancing around him, I tried to locate Depp once again..
"Where did Depp get off too? Dammit, I need to sit still once in awhile!" Frustrated that I had walked off and lost Depp, I turned back to Rock.
"How goes it?"

Does she know me? Rock thought as the woman came over to him, once she got close, the scent definetly became clear "Well... you wern't kidding when you said you be grown in no time Eden!"

'How goes it?'

"Nothing special is happening to right now, just out here because I was bored. What about you? Why are you out here in this freezing cold?"

I chuckled and shook my head, "You are still funny Rock." Taking his arm and hooking it with mine I began strolling back up the block towards here I had last left Depp standing.
"I am out and about, shopping with Depp and taking lessons.... well pretending too. Since i have yet to accomplish any of these things.. And what are you doing out here tonight?" I walked slowly, escorting him up and away from my home instead of heading towards it. But I was having too much fun to go home just yet.

Recalling what I had been taught tonight by Depp, I smiled sweetly at Rock and scooted myself closer against his body as we strolled along.
"Are you enjoying yourself tonight?" I locked eyes with him, letting my husky voice pour over him as I smiled sweetly. Brushing provocatively against him for a moment, I let a little space come between us once again.

Rock blushed a little, but took control of it instantly, "I guess I am," Rock said cautiaus of Edens movement. She had grown so quickly, yet I have a small feeling that Depp is giving her a bad influence... But I am sure Eden is much smarter than that. Rock smiled at Eden, then looked at the moon.

With Depp vanished and nothing pressing to do, I felt like wandering around awhile. So with this decided I turned and kissed Rock on the cheek and smiled, "I have to go now.. Do have fun Rock and see you soon." I turned and started walking off, hearing him say something behind me, I turned and waved, "See ya!" And I kept going, there had to be something to do around here.. Something fun!
Perhaps some ice cream at the diner? Shrugging, I walked along, stopping now and then to inspect something or someone along the way.

Rock saw Eden leave, he was slightly blushing after Eden kissed him on the cheek "Becareful Eden." Rock said. He shooved his hands in his pockets. and looked around for an tall building. He quickly disapered in the shadows

Enter the Tim

He walked along, purposefully. He had a job to do. He wasn't sure who exactly gave him the jobs. But whoever it was paid his bills, and that was enough.

It was odd, he decided, living here. He didn't like it at all. It felt too confined, it felt too,...fake. Kind of like himself, he supposed. He listened to the sounds his heavy boots made on the hardened cement. Designer jeans and shirt. It felt so fake, and esecially confining for his anatomy. He knew some people were born with tails, but he knew wings were unheard of. He wore a baggy grey sweatshirt/jacket. He didn't know what the hell it was. But the hood covered his head, and that was all that mattered. Around his head, he wore a read headband. At the sides of his forehead, two horns grew straight out, before curving upwards. Like some god-damned gun rack on his head.

He hated what he was, even as he wondered what he was. One thing was certain, as human as he pretended to be, he was not a human.

He sighed. Oh well, the hunt was almost over. There she was, this, 'Eden' he'd been sent to kill. He didn't ask why, he just knew how. He moved faster, coming up behind her, and zipped down his jacket, reaching inside and pulling out his gun. He stopped, and brought the gun up, pointing the barrel at the back of her head.

"I really do suggest you don't turn around."

Walking along, I wondered where Rock went off to hide now? Depp was no where in sight and.....

My thoughts were interrupted by some moron coming up behind me.
"Oh? Why not?" I could feel the gun pressed against my skull but did not turn around.
"I have no cash, so you may as well rob someone else.." I muttered calmly. The energy within began to stir around, the cresendo building slowly.

Rock stayed completely silent as he followed Eden's scent, jumping from one roof top to another. He knew it was stalking, and it was wrong, but he couldn't help it. Something kept telling him that he needed to, or else something bad will happen to Eden.

"Where is she? her scent is right below me, and I can't see her! Wait..."

"I really do suggest you don't turn around."

Rock stood silent his face darkened as he saw the gun pointed to Eden's head "Shit..." He said to himself "I won't do any thing now... But if he pulls any thing smart...." Rock pulled out an shuriken "I'll kill him!"

Rock didn't move nor did any thing, until he felt something different about the guy "He's somethuing more than human... I got to keep an eye on this guy!"

"Rob? Oh, I'm not here to rob you. I've been told to kill you. Although I don't know why. If you have any last words, hun, I suggest you say them now."

He gritted his teeth. He still didn't like killing people, especially young women. But, a job was a job. And since no one else was likely to hire a freak like himself, this was the way things went. His finger curled around the trigger, and squeezed.

Just before this guy could kill Eden,rock threw the dager piercing the gun, and sending it o0ut of his hand.. Rock jumped down from the building, not even phased by the pain.

Eden

Hearing him pull on the trigger, my senses awake and ready. I quickly moved to the side, his round going stray into the street behind me.
"That's not nice at all... but I will forgive you." I smiled.
"Now, tell me who hired you and perhaps we can cut a deal? You try and fucking shoot me again, I will kill you myself! got it?" I smirked, knowing this wasn't over and I really should run for my very life.. but what fun would that be?
Spotting Rock, I waved him back as I eyed this demon.

He was in the act of pulling the gun around to keep the shot firing at her when a dagger hit his gun. A sharp sound of metal on metal pushing his hand before the stupid knike clattered to the ground. His shot went wild into a street.

He turned to face her, folding his arms under his shoulders, carefully aiming his gun towards his new target. "I don't know who he is. But he pays the bills." He looked her over. "Although, granted, I can see a few things you have to offer that are more than what he's offering."

He squeezed the trigger again, and this time the shot went straight for it's new target, the bastard that dared interfere with his hit. "Who the hell are you, anyway?"
