Congressional Primaries in Texas and North Carolina Today!

oh hell. We have a brand new district here in Texas, the 9th district, and the casino billionaires' special friend Alex Melear leads that race. She blew threw six million dollars running for mayor of Houston in 2024, financed her campaign 98 percent out of state and still lost. Nasty woman.

Texas Attorney General Paxton was impeached by the (Republican) Texas House for charges that included taking bribes.

He also almost went to trial for fraud, but settled out of court.

The “15 hours of legal ethics education” is hilarious considering he’s the state attorney general.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton makes deal to end securities fraud charges weeks before trial

Why do MAGA sheep love crooks so much?

Tell me that on..the 4th of July! There might be 5 in your party thats left standing and thats a HIGH estimate! Your party of perverts pedofiles and canibals is done, finished, over, FUCKED! 100% TRUTH

Only in Texas: Congressman Troy Nehls is stepping down and did not run for re-election.
His identical twin brother Trever Nehls won the Republican primary to replace him.

You've certainly confirmed your lack of a reality based awareness.
No TRUMPER has any business complaining about anybody's reality-based awareness.

That's like Trump saying "Sleepy Joe"!

Exit pollsters noting something very unusual about James Tallerico voter demographic:
  • Majority of Democratic voters between the ages of 18-40 picking Tallerico
  • Majority of Democratic voters between the ages of 41-60 picking Crockett
  • Majority of Democratic voter over the age of 60 picking Tallerico

This is an anomaly: an inverted bell curve.

Some experts say this is because Tallerico has a massive social media following (and campaign) in Texas which appeals to younger voters, while older voters are voting for him as a result of the CBS/Stephen Colbert dustup.

Also it appear John Cornyn is doomed. Misogynist bigots turning out in droves for bigoted adulter Ken Paxson "A vote FOR Paxson is a vote AGAINST Islam.
Yawn!

Dems HUMILIATED as RADICAL Socialist LOSES BIG as Republicans Dominate Texas Voting Turnout

I scarcely know where to begin.

1. The Republicans actively coaxed Rep. Crockett into the race. They wanted to run against her!
2. The votes aren't all counted yet, but with over 75% counted, there were actually more votes in the Democratic primary for Senate than in the Republican one. That's a very interesting definition of "Republicans dominate".

And apparently there was confusion related to the Texas MAGAt republicans changing where people voted.

That ^ is the voter suppression tactics by the MAGAt republicans that Democrats have been warning about.

🤬

We. Told. Them. So.

The state of Texas routinely changes precincts and where to vote quite often here. Hurricane Harvey destroyed a lot of voting places that were not rebuilt, and Covid caused a number of voting sites to permanently close.

I know exactly where the "confusion" lays....In Texas, we have early voting. about 10% of precincts are open all over the city and voters can go to any one of them that are open (Early voting lasts 10 days I believe) and vote. I think I've voted in a dozen different locations.

Once early voting is over, though, you must vote at your ASSIGNED precinct on Election day. People routinely forget that they can't vote in the library across the street from where they work (as I did one time). It's confusing but I've learned the system.

Too left-wing for Texas Republicans?

Must be an SS man.
He opposes abortion and gun control, he's called for abolishing Obamacare, he thinks global warming is a hoax...but he has occasionally failed to kiss Trump's ass. That's what it boils down to.

Rs think they are the more moral party, but reading more about Paxton, wow they sure love their nefarious amoral characters.

As Texas Attorney General, he was accused of securities fraud for encouraging investors to invest in a technology company without disclosing that he was receiving compensation from the company. He was also impeached by the Texas House in 2023 on allegations of bribery and abuse of office related to helping a political donor, but he was later acquitted by the Texas Senate and remained in office.

That's Rs for you, then they want to rant about fraud. Ultimate hypocrites.

Yeah, Paxton is a true Trumper: committed fraud, took bribes and cheated on his wife.
