One can be very shy especially when sending a PM the first time - me - it depends on my mood - bag gurl; good gurl ;)

My Crush ESPing powers is not working for the 2nd day now - no PMs - not even a nice sterile one

It can be hard to know when a woman is crushing on you, for the record. I've heard women admit it. You ladies can be nervous and flighty sometimes, and we're hesitant to approach you for fear of rejection and embarrassment.

Send him a nice PM. Just share your thoughts. 'I really love the things you post around here. :rose:' Something like that to let him know you're interested. Might make things a touch easier.

There is no (straight) man on these boards who is going to be anything less than glad to receive a PM from a hot woman. Next time you find yourself feeling shy, say to yourself "I'm being silly" and then send a PM.

You have to try....if nothing comes out of it, hopefully you have a new friend.
 
I think there IS something sweet to have a crush on someone - and not tell them. There are a few women in lit that I've had crushes on and have written to (not telling of the crush though). There are ALSO a few women in lit I have crushes on that I have never written....I simply wait, lurk and stalk until they post something....then remind myself via that post, or looking at their profile again, why I have a crush on them.

I could write to them.....and they could be appreciative...or I could continue my typical flirting ways and not have them know....not sure that is such a bad thing really....hurts no one....and I have fun with it....
 
I think it is better to keep any crushes i may have a secret! That way if the flirt with others it wont bother me as much because they dont know i like them!
